This was a welcoming and very pleasant place to stay at the end of December, with a warm and comfortable bedroom suite including a spacious bathroom with a good bath as well as shower. The breakfast was excellent, including tasty good-quality local ham and cheese. Dinner was separately available at the La Deu restaurant across the road and was of spectacularly good quality and good value. The hotel and its garden are in the forest, with many birds around, and a beautiful scenic walk along a quiet little country road to get in or out of town in 20 minutes (or easily by taxi).

The owner was a very decent lady. The apartment was very clean, spacious for 4 people and the air con worked well. There y plenty of plates, cups etc. The shower was okay, beds were comfortable enough and all in all, for the price this was a great stay.

The host was very friendly and intelligent. He personally greeted us. The magnificent nature, the purest air, and the silence create an incredible atmosphere of harmony between humans and nature! This property is a gem, it’s in a small village near the historic town of Olot. The countryside is beautiful, there are plenty of nice restaurants to go to, I went to restaurant La Deu. I enjoyed going on hikes in the volcanic national park
