Lovely area, beautiful scenery, welcoming locals and hosts. Very enjoyable meals out at a range of establishments that catered for different tastes and price ranges. Beautiful church. There is some historical places to visit in the immediate area, including some stunning hikes and trails. In the wider area, good, easy access to Granada, the Alhambra, beaches and towns along the south coast. Stunning scenery, very near to Sierra Nevada national park. The 400-year-old house has been beautifully restored and is tastefully decorated and filled with art and antiques. Our host was generous, kind and attentive. Even though we arrived late by bike she produced an incredible three-course meal (the best food we’ve had during our holiday in Spain). The breakfast was also filling and delicious.
