There’s a small grocery store and a cafe/bar which is always buzzing. The service staff are fantastic and breakfasts are good. Rooms are clean and comfy. The challenge is the noise from the cafe/bar. It’s lovely to hear the children, and some of the loud adult conversations are okay too. The issue is the TV on too loud and at times local patrons watching their own sport match videos on their phones. These could be a bit much. We came to Parada de Sil in August when it was super hot. The hotel is in a lovely old stone building and is really cool inside even in 35C weather. The rooms are spacious and clean; the kitchen is well-stocked and there is a large and comfy lounge. The owner was very kind and gave us lots of recommendations for walking and swimming.
