The hotel was great, perfect location and very clean.
A lovely welcome the man on reception. Happy and friendly.
The room was a good size and perfect. However no coffee machine, private pool ( just a shared normal pool) no private entrance. Its wasn't a problem but seems strange to advertise this and its not true.
The communal pool was huge as very clean. Members of the public can use it for 6 euros so i guess when schools are off it would be very busy.

we choose this hostal as a pit stop on route between Portugal and Santander. wow! beautiful old building in the middle of town. quirky interiors, wonderful old cobbled floors. but we had the most amazing dinner cooked by the owners son (Jack - son of Jacques). the owner choose us 5 courses to share as a family and it was the best meal we had all holiday. find this little gem of a hotel and go eat! really good value too

The hotel is located in a residential and quiet area outside the town. We chose it because of parking facilities and the restaurant. The dinner itself (only menu of the day) was not sublime, the breakfast instead was good. The region is very nice and worthy to visit.

Unexpected gem in the middle of Valencia de Don Juan. New rooms and bathrooms, really big and comfy beds, ample bathroom and very quiet. Also the breakfast was good. Heating worked perfectly and all looked very nice around.
