The apartment was nice and clean, it was easy to pick up the key from R-Kiosk (you need to keep in mind the R-Kiosk opening hours though). Comfortable bed, good shower. A private parking place is a benefit. The area is calm, the city centre is in a walking distance, and it takes 10-15 minutes to drive to Himos ski resort. We would come back again.

A town fairly close to Jyväskylä, where you can spend a pleasant half-day visiting the various buildings designed by Aalto. On the way to/from Helsinki, it's a great place to stop for an overnight break.

Services of a small place.

Services of a small place. A peaceful and cozy place, friendly people. Restaurants close early, so it's worth getting there early. However, the services and recreational opportunities are quite suitable for families with children.

The slopes in Himos were in great condition, I recommend it...

The slopes in Himos were in great condition, I recommend it to skiers and snowboarders. I was disappointed with the trail network, I was in both Himos and the Särkijärvi area and couldn't find any nice routes. I found bad maps/information online in advance (e.g. starting points and routes). The condition of the trails was good.

I liked that there were many different cross-country ski...

I liked that there were many different cross-country ski trails and you could go skiing right from the place you stayed. The walls are noisy and if someone decides to have a party, the neighbors can't sleep. You should be more specific about this night partying and be prepared to fine the partygoers. You can get a fine for whistling, but no one will do anything for partying all night.

Taxi connections were spotty - sometimes you had to wait too...

Taxi connections were spotty - sometimes you had to wait too long, even though there were taxis in traffic. If you are not going to Himos, you should think twice about traveling to Jämsä, as there is nothing else to see and experience.

Stayed for several nights and it´s really the best accommodation in Himos. The house was clean, cozy and with all amenities. The kitchen has a large selection of dishes and kitchenware for preparing your own meals. A nice sauna and a wonderful view to the slopes from the jacuzzi. Everything you need for the winter holiday is nearby.

Clean, safe, by the railway station. Small kitchen, good enough equipped. Clean spaces. I loved it, that i had a minifridge in my room, and also a sink was nice addition. Cheapest of the options available in Jämsä, but unfortunately still to my liking not comfy enough for the money that I had to pay.
