We checked in quite late, and to our surprise, sauna and hot tub were ready for immediate use. The host even prepared our breakfast on the same evening so we could have it early in the morning and keep our scheduled departure time at 6 am. The room was cozy and quiet.

We had a problem with our vehicle on our stay. It was Sunday evening and still the great stuff came straight away to help us out and basically saved our night. We are so grateful for this. Also, next day they let us staying 2 extra hours before check out after our incident, so we could have a proper recovery. The team is so well organized that everything just works out really smooth and flows easy with your holidays. In addition, they are 24/7 in communication with the guests in case of any need. We will be back for sure.

Excellent place for a stay with a larger group or family. Large combined living room and kitchen area serves as the center of everyday activities, bed rooms in the upper floor have 2 separate beds each and there is one additional bed in the upper corridor. Downstairs has two bedrooms as well, one with 2 separate beds and 1 with a larger single bed. The living room and kitchen equipment was splendid, same for the rest of the house.

An unexpected bargain and what a hidden gem. This house is literally the perfect winter cabin in the woods Gorgeously built house (the pictures don't even do it justice!) with an amazing sauna, washing machine, dish washer, mezzanine overlooking a spacious living room. The host provides pretty much everything you need to have a good time there (even got sledges, dishwasher tablets and candles) and they are very attentive. Definitely worth the money and I would book again if I come back to Finland.

Luosto is a ski resort, we went in the summer for peace and quiet which we got. Easy trails for walking and climbing. Climb the mountain for a great view or the new mountain hut has opened with a short 1.7km steepish walk which leads onto longer trails

Absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery. Lots of winter activities. Small village but wonderful and very friendly locals. Good bus service from outside the hotel. The ski bus was very useful for getting to different areas. Wonderful places to eat. Food was of the very best quality. Lovely gift shop in the village called Herianna. Full of wonderful gifts and the staff is fantastic,so warm and friendly. Also there is a great little shop that has everything you need for your stay.

A small but Amazing Spa, as in coed Steam sauna, normal sauna, water massage in the pool, jacuzzi and fitness/gym room. Great food at breakfast and restaurant. Super service by the staff all over. Lovely nature to go walking or biking. Ametyst mine near by, caravan site, shop and down hill

We are disappointed with the whole igloo thing. We had paid through booking com. But we were not offered the object in question. At the reception we were told that others have also been disappointed when they have ordered through booking com. That the order does not correspond to the object ordered

Peace of nature, good outdoor opportunities, different levels of walks available depending on fitness. Great service and delicious food at Punainessa-Ketu. Also really delicious food at the Naava Nature Center in Pyhä. Also nice jewelry at the Amethyst store. The Amethyst spa/gym did not meet expectations, the hall is stuck in the 70s and can it even be called a spa... it needs renovations.

Spacious, clean and cozy cabin in a very remote location a few minutes drive outside Luosto. Loved the silence and the peace. We were 2 adults and 2 children and had so much space, kids particularly loved the loft area. 2 separate bedrooms on ground floor and 3 beds in loft area meant it could sleep many more than us. Sleds on porch for children. Wood left for stove and wood burning sauna. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay, the hotel is across Lapland Safari’s where you can book your husky safari or a visit to the amethyst mine and is also surounded by nice restaurants. It’s also really worth it to have diner at the hotel restaurant. After a long day it was relaxing to take a sauna and build up a fire at the fireplace in the room. The staff is really friendly and helpful too.

This cabin was perfect for us - cute and homey, not too far to drive to Luosto. It was so peaceful. A trail runs from behind the cabin into the countryside. So beautiful and a great spot for aurora hunting as no light pollution. The cabin was toasty warm too. We loved it here.

Really lovely log cabin set in woodland, but still within walking distance of Luosto. Beds were nice and comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils. Cabin was nice a warm with constant hot water.
