Our stay at these igloos was nothing short of magical. The accommodation perfectly blended comfort and natural beauty, offering an extraordinary arctic experience. The igloo was incredibly functional, maintaining a perfect temperature and providing all necessary comforts. Situated on a frozen lake, its glass walls allowed us to sleep under a starry sky and witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights and stunning sunrise. The accompanying cottage was cozy and inviting, complete with a warm fireplace and a traditional sauna. An extra thoughtful touch was the host's provision of a delightful lactose-free breakfast in a beautifully prepared box, catering to dietary needs with care. The entire experience felt like a personal winter wonderland – intimate, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't recommend this unique retreat more highly. What can I Say !! I'm glad we booked at Vaatunki and no where else... hands down the BEST property if you are looking to relax, enjoy peace and quiet and the surrounding is soooo soooo beautiful. There is free shuttle service too which is a big plus

The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

Few minutes walk from Santa Village Park. Igloos are very comfortable and high tech. I was very surprised to discover at reception that, as part of our booking, we had 1 main course for free at restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and breakfast rich and of great mix of sweet and salty food.
