On the positive side, there is underground parking, the building itself is new and modern, the internet worked well, and the location is convenient with a grocery store nearby, a pharmacy across the street, and the RER D station about a 15-minute walk away. The host was responsive on the day of check-in, although getting clarity about the deposit refund took longer than expected.

The key handover and check-in were very well organised. As a much appreciated kind and welcoming touch, I found some lights and the heating switched on in the room upon arrival. The room is very cosy, well equipped and clean. Contact with the host by app was always friendly and reliable. The room can be reached very easily by public transport, both a metroline and RER D from Paris run very regularly, also late at night, just like the bus lines from the relevant stations. Also, when arriving in Paris at Gare de Lyon, the recent and superfast metro line 14 will buzz you to many locations throughout Paris. Realistically, it takes 30-45 minutes from the centre of Paris to get to the room.

    A real place, with ordinary friendly people.

    A real place, with ordinary friendly people. Everyione saying good morning. Lovely bakery. Diverse. nice atmosphere. Kids kicking the ball about on the street . Very polite with nebourhood restaurants, not touristy. Close to good supermarkets, and pretty streets, and fancier cafes the other side of metro. Great area for an evening or morning run by the seine a minute away. Takes about an hour to get into the main attractions. The Zoo is and the big park is about a 30 minute walk away. I stayed on the the area for 6 days .

    It was a clean and bright apartment near a train station, and the neighborhood seemed nice and quiet. The bathroom was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. It's really conveniently located near the Alfortville train station.
