The hotel is located at a perfect location, near the train station and just at the entrance to the old town, it is not in the mountain so it was not difficult to reach with suitcase, you don't have to walk through uphill ways with your luggage.
The room is lovely, calm, clean, it has a double bed + a separate rooom with a single bed, it's family friendly, but it has no kettle though, you cannot boil some water to make tea.

Collioure is an absolutely beautiful coastal French small city, not far north of the Spanish border. As such, it comfortably merges French and Catalan culture which enhances its allure as a tourist destination. As an example, we had tapas on three of our seven nights in Collioure. We also food shopped at a number of local markets, which provided a selection of amazing cheeses, wine, bread, and Spanish hams. The beaches are typical Mediterranean rocky, but the water is gloriously clean and clear.

Very nice little village at the sea.
Very nice little village at the sea. Several beaches, lot of restaurants and shops. Very Catalan, close to the Spanish border. Easy to get around, just walking. Possibility to rent bikes, take a boat trip and a lot more. Nice food with a touch of Spain (Catalan) some regional wines an several winerys to visit. The wine is kind of mineral to taste, not the greatest area in France for wine, but ok.

Once you are in the town and parked then there's no need to go anywhere else for a while. There are plenty of restaurants, a great art museum, good local walks, good beaches and it is neither loud nor too large.

Friends had told us how lovely this beach town is, so we decided to stay a couple days. The town is charming with lovely seaside pebble beaches. The old section of town has many cafes and fine dining restaurants from which to choose.
Walking is the best mode of transportation. Driving isn't necessary. Once we arrived, we parked the care and didn't use it again until we left.

Collioure is the most beautiful old fishing village, that has also played host to artists like Matisse, Picasso and Rennie MacIntosh. The beaches are a great base for snorkelling, though some sort of water shoe would be recommended as it is stony not sandy.
There is no shortage of places to eat, though we found ourselves often at Cafe Sole for drinks and tapas. Do remember this is a bar that stays open all year round, and do not be offended if the patron appears to favour his regulars over tourists - they are his year round income, tourists are a 2 month boost. He is a pleasant guy with excellent english.
Collioure is a place to walk. Parking is not easy, far better to arrive by train.
Exeptionally nice and friendly staff whom also spoke excellent english. They immediately asked where we parked and recommened a closer, cheaper and safer spot. The room was tidy and clean, the AC was already turned on so the room was tempered. Comfortable bed with enough pillows. From the window, which could be opened, we had a nice view to a lovely Collioure street and also a nearby castle. Ok breakfeast with ham and cheese and also different spreads, in addition to yoghurt and berries. Trés bonne. Would definitely visit again.
Our room next to reception was more like a mini suite with shower room & WC a couple of steps down from the main room.
Plenty of space with eye catching decor in all the rooms we were able to see.
Breakfast was 3* but plentiful and fresh. Nice coffee!
The service was exceptional, I heard that the hotel group recruits from ex Air France cabin staff-they all appear to have been business/first class trained as their customer service skills are rarely found these days even in establishments charging much higher prices.
Steps away from great food, drinks, and shops. We didn’t plan it this way but we stayed here on Bastille Day and so had a view out the window to the town square which had a stage and a band — was so much fun.
The apartment was clinically clean and oh so comfortable. Really appreciated the dual AC units (visited on some very hot July days). You wouldn’t do this cause there’s so much to do in Collioure, but you could just chill out and relax in this flat all day — it’s that inviting.
Christophe is an excellent host. He communicated with us before and after our arrival, making sure we had detailed instructions to locate the apartment. The apartment is tastefully decorated and charming. The location is perfect for visiting Collioure. We were very pleased with all aspects of the rental. When our car was too long to fit the garage on-site, Christophe had a secondary private and secure parking space for us within a short distance.
The hotel were unable to provide their usual service due to the COVID restriction, so the breakfast had to be served in our room, and there was no other service available. But the 1 person we met was very pleasant and as helpful as possible. The hotel was in a convenient position, was clean and comfortable, and most important when staying in Collioure, had parking available which was also free.
Nearness to local facilities. Parking a little complicated to find but worked out OK. Good choice of eating places. Collioure was as quaint as I had read of from a variety of sources. Petite Train ride to Castle a must for all. Bathroom very good. Description honest and accurate, well done to Ibanova for providing a duplex for a family of 3 or 4. Would return here first if we can.
Beautiful small hotel literally right on the Mediterranean. Comfy bed, small but well designed room, and incredible restaurant. Breakfast is local meat, cheese, fruit, bread, yogurt, and a small egg dish. Perfect for our needs. Dinner at the restaurant was terrific- a small but well done menu with a tasting menu option. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to return!
The apartment is located in the historic old part of Collioure, close to the harbour. It was immaculately decorated and clean. The showers are excellent and both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, which proved a major bonus during the very hot weather. The hotel that owns the apartment sent a very helpful email shortly before we arrived giving us necessary information.
Excellent location on a mainly pedestrian road in the centre of old Collioure, ten minutes walk from the station, less from the nearest beach and harbour, with a boulangerie almost opposite and good pizza place a few doors along.
This is a roughly N/NW facing flat so keeps relatively cool, even with the shutters open.
The flat was very clean and comfortable.
The location is right in the centre of town 5 minutes walk from the port. The property is well maintained and particularly breakfast in the courtyard is stunning. Best feature of the hotel: the team at Casa Pairal was outstanding! Recommendations, any help or support needed, a friendly word - absolutely amazing and charming! I’d come back anytime…
Our room was very comfortable. loved that the windows opened out to view the mountain. very close to the beaches, cafes and shopping. you can leave your luggage if you arrive early. there is parking out in front of the hotel but only a few spots which might be full. parking at Glacis is just across the street and not too expensive.
I spent a night at La Fregate and I had the bes experience because I was able to leave my luggage while I could do my check in. The service I received from a lady in the front desk was remarcable, we talked in Spanish and made me feel more comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and the breakfast buffet was really good.
I have been to Collioure several times and I think of it as heaven. I loved all the hotels there I’ve stayed in but Helene has made it home for me. I also love the garden in back. So there are fancier places in Collioure but none that have made me so happy! Plus there breakfast nook is so comfortable!
Loved this hotel - the staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and helped me check in earlier than planned. The room was nice with a great view of the town and it was a short walk to all of the attractions.
The room had a small but lovely balcony that we enjoyed during our stay. The location was great. The hotel is bright and airy, with excellent ventilation. The sea breezes flow through the halls and dining areas. Nice breakfast in the mornings, including fresh fruit.
The rooms were clean but small, especially the bathroom. The hotel was very handy for the centre of Colliure. The breakfast was excellent value for the money we had to pay (9€ pp). There is a large car park nearby, but it works out expensive for an overnight stay.
The photos match the appartement and we found everything very clean. Our stay was cozy and the location of the apartment was perfect : close to everything and in the cutest neighborhood of Collioure.
We definitely recommend staying here !
