Our stay was beautiful- the room felt very peaceful and comfortable (and was tres chic!). Breakfast in the courtyard was idyllic with delicious fresh food (and beautifully presented). The owners were very friendly and helpful. We loved the fact that it was out of the village and very quiet too. The local village (about a 20 minutes walk) is just what you imagine a village in Provence to be.

Mazet Leajo is a lovely little cocoon and it felt like our little home for 4 nights. From Bruno and Caroline warm welcome, simplicity and kindness to the quality and cleanliness of the house, it is a perfect spot to discover this stunning region of France. Eygalières is just beautiful and there are many nice restaurants and cafes to choose from and enjoy. On Fridays, it is market day in Eygalières so try to stay for that day, it was a pleasure to get some nice fish and veggies and other little goodies there and cook them for dinner on the barbecue that Bruno has in the outside kitchen (which by the way is so beautifully done just like the garden). Thank you also Bruno for the lovely bottle of white wine which went down a treat with our fish. If you are there on a Sunday, go and see the « pétanque/boules » locals play, it is fun and definitely an authentic experience! The view of the Alpilles and the village from the old castle at the top of Eygalières is stunning, don’t miss it! Also when you walk in the streets of Eygalières, which is less than 5 minutes by foot from the Mazet, it feels like time should stop, I think sometimes it does or it did for us, it is the south after all and it is best appreciated at a slow pace as there are so many little details to discover and take pictures of. If you have not done your homework, Bruno and Caroline will recommend you places to go and visit and you can see that they love their region and love welcoming people. It is the kind of place you want to return and return and return to, hopefully we will. Thank you Bruno and Caroline for the wonderful memories we have made in Le Mazet Leajo À bientôt L and A

    Eygalieres is a beautiful town, with a great market on a Friday. The town has some great places to eat. Highly recommend Maison Hache a one star Michelin, food was thoughtful and delicious. There are plenty of historical places to visit. https://www.carrieres-lumieres.com/en is a must if you like music and paintings. Many vineyards which are open for tastings in the area. I think you could easily stay for 1 - 2 weeks

    A beautiful village in Provence... Great Friday market. Not to be missed. Good for day trips to St. Remy, Avignon, and even further. Where we stayed did not have a pool - it gets hot in the summer. But since we were mostly with our friends during the day (who have a pool) it made the visit great. Of you are going in August having access to a swimming pool is a must.

    A very pretty small town, with wonderful buildings ,a lot of eating places and some interesting old sights to visit. Good parking close to the town and then walking! a lot of it uphill ,and I mean uphill.! we only had a lunch time snack there as we ate in the hotel for dinner. This is only one of several small places in the area worth a visit.

We loved the delicious food, beautifully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The hotel is wonderfully dog-friendly, and our furry companion was warmly welcomed. The sound of cicadas added to the peaceful ambiance. We can't wait to return to this serene and delightful haven.

    Our host Zaman was fantastic! He was cheerful, funny, generous and helpful. Our villa was fairly nice and the aircon (in such heat in Provence) was extremely reliable. Overall, a comfortable 'makeshift' villa. Very good for 4 people. Staff were attentive to our needs and breakfast was likewise cheerful and pleasant. Location was very good in the Eygalières valley and the hotel's ground were beautifully manicured and well-tended.

    A beautiful property with great staff. My flight got delayed, I had not entered the full satnav code and late getting there. The hotel actually called me! They waited for me to arrive - I was super impressed. I was only staying the night en route to somewhere, but will definitely return as it has everything you could want for a vacation!
