There was no breakfast and no dinner either as the restaurant was closed. But a lady called Adeline kindly came to let me in and showed me to my room. I particularly enjoyed hearing the cocks crow in the morning. But they wrote to tell me the restaurant was closed but too late to change my booking. No other restaurants open for miles. I liked being able to open the window and the hit water in the shower.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was beautiful and we had the pleasure of an open fire to keep us warm. Also our hosts spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome.
