Honfleur is a gorgeous mediaeval fishing town that we have visited well over a dozen times. We never get tired of going back. There is always something to see and do. Amazing art galleries to look at, the small tourist train that takes you to all the main sites in Honfleur and it's environs. The replica William the Conquerors longship that is being built - a trip on the Seine to the Pont-d- Normandie. We were here last year at the same time and found some noticeable changes - many brocante stores have opened up ( great!) and it is much busier with large numbers of tourist groups from cruises. A beautiful old harbour town, that was buzzing with life even in the cold and damp. There are so many beautiful houses and buildings and the streets are filled with galleries and handicraft shops. Very helpful, professional and friendly staff. What a beautiful building the hotel is. Pre-booked parking was essential and we were able to drop our bags off first before accessing it. The property is right in the heart of the square. The room was spacious, the bed large and incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very big.
