The staff are all very friendly, hard-working and accommodating. The restaurant and bar are great, and there is always a relaxed energy in those areas. Live music is a real bonus, as is the daily Happy Hour. The hotel is well-equipped for a ski holiday, with on-site ski shop and free lockers. Buffet breakfast is also great. The hotel has a distinct and fun brand/vibe, which is consistent and has been well thought-out, and differentiates it from most other hotels.

Everything. The hotel was located in a beautiful area and the relation price-quality I think is one of the best I have ever been in France. The stuff were very nice and helped in all needed. Also I had an issue with the room but the solved in 5 minutes. Also the breakfast was good. I recommmend 100%

We had a very lovely stay at the Le Chalet! Despite the missing snow in the low season we could totally enjoy the incredible view of the Mont Blanc from all the windows of the chalet, having breakfast or dinner at the terrace. This is also a good starting point to explore the area around Mont Blanc with its cute little towns and the mountains around them. In addition to the outdoor activities available, there is a sauna, swimming pool, cinema room etc. in the chalet, so it's a perfect combination of options to spend a wonderful time there. Our special thanks goes to Octavio and his colleague who made our stay there even more comfortable!! We would be happy to stay at the Le Chalet anytime again, especially in winter :)

Modern, spacious and well equipped apartment with plenty of room for a big family or group. There's a ski room in the basement that we could use. The bus to Chamonix stops right outside the apartment (100 meters). Highly recommend this beautiful apartment!

We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our...

We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our grandaughter thirty-six years after we took her mother. The Parc delivered, with Chamois, Mouflon and Marmots to enjoy. The views from accommodation on that side of the valley are the best in the valley. In Les Houches village, the local patisserie was visited and a different cake enjoyed every day. There were plenty of paths (including Tour de Mont Blanc) into the forest, for walks from the chalet. Wonderful Alpine wildlife is easy to find. It was convenient to take the free train into Chamonix and take a ride to Le Brevent then walk the ridge and back to the chalet. We did the Mer de Glas, to from Chamonix. We went up to Bellevue on the teleferique and walked across the alp, finding several wild flowers and even a rare Wart-Biter Grasshopper! We then took the Tramway du Mont Blanc down to Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains and had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful park. There was a very tough Via Ferrata for the over 70s (with 50 years experience) and a Go Ape-type circuit with a rock-climb included in the trail for the 10-year-old and her Mamma, then train back to Les Houches. One weekend evening was lively down in the village, but up on the hill we could sit out in relative calm and stare at the sunset on snowy Mont Blanc, stars and the torch-lights of mountaineers picking their way down. All-in-all, very relaxing.

Pros: The chalet is spacious, well located, and looks just like the photos. Beautiful surroundings. Cons: Very expensive for the experience. Out of 10 days, 5 with no hot water. Support was unresponsive (calls ignored, WhatsApp replies delayed). With small children this was very hard.

Don't stay overnight in crowded Chamonix, unless you like a Disney-kind of atmosphere. Instead, village Les Houches has pleasant places overlooking the Mont Blanc glaciers. Easy bustrip (in summertime every 30 minutes) to take you to nice and easy or more difficult to reach summits and glaciers, by yourself or by taking a cable car.

Les Houches is a very beautiful town with bars/restaurants...

Les Houches is a very beautiful town with bars/restaurants within walking distance. Free bus service and only 15mins from Chamonix. We had dinner in our hotel couple of nights Les sainte antoine which was very nice and would recommend.

For skiiing Les Houches is catering to all beginner to intermediate needs. Be early (months) to catch a ski instructor and be prepared to either cook at your accommodation or drive to somewhere else because the village doesn't offer too much for dining out.

Excellent Tourist Office.

Excellent Tourist Office. Town quieter and friendlier than Chamonix. Two good access points to the middle mountains for hiking. Bus system excellent, buses ran every 30 minutes while we were there. Quite walkable to the train station, as well.

Nice location - five minutes walk from the main road and bus stops. About 20 mins into Chamonix by bus, or 20 mins walk to the main part of Les Houches village. Accomodation was good. Comfortable beds, good showers, good heating system (we never felt cold), plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc. And great mountain views!

The location in Les Houches is great and make is easy to go to all attractions in the area, less than 10 minutes to Chamonix center. The apartment is very nice, very comfortable with 2 bathrooms. the beds are good. The view of the Mont Blanc summit from the living room doors is amazing.

The hotel is really nice, especially when you are travelling with kids, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is amazing (thank you to the chef!!), a little costly like everything in Chamonix, but definitely qorth it. Highly recommend.

Good location between Chamonix and Les Houches ski lifts. Hotel staff are very friendly. Nice bar and restaurant. Rooms are on the small side but lots of storage to compensate.
