I loved the staff!! Everyone we interacted with were courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our room was very nice, clean, comfy and roomy. The hotel is in a great location. It's quiet at night, but in a lively area, so there's plenty to do nearby without being kept awake.

We loved the quirky art everywhere, the hosts were really lovely and accommodating. We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner there and they were all delicious. The pool was beautiful and clean and a nice temperature to swim in. They allowed us to check in early and check out later. Nothing was too hard for them.

Only stayed one day and night but the old town and port area are great places to wander and eat. The Cathedral and Museum of Civilizations area is good to wander around. Notre Dame de la Garde was closed for visits early on Sundays for Mass. Missed that one but had seen it previously.

Marseille is a beautiful city with lots to do and see.

Marseille is a beautiful city with lots to do and see. Rich on history and culture. Sometimes it’s taunting to climb all the stairs and hills- but - worth it! Great local and international cuisine. The Calanques are stunning ! The city card is a great deal for sightseers.

Marseille is an exciting city with many faces.

Marseille is an exciting city with many faces. After visiting museums in the city center, it is worth taking a boat trip. Take a boat trip to the island of If, the island of Friuli, or one of the Calanques. It is also worth hiking in the Calanque National Park and running along the extra-long and beautiful seaside promenade. The seaside restaurant or the Triskell Breton crêperie are also not to be missed.

lots of good cafe & resturant and most of them are very reasonble priced. Cruises are good except that the guide only speaks in French. most of the exhibitions in the museum only written in French too. it is depressing to see the homeless with the children sleeping on the street.

There was so much to see and do!

There was so much to see and do! The History Museum in the Bourse shopping centre was fantastic! The Cosquer Cave was wonderful. We took the boat trip to the Calanques and enjoyed it. It was easy to get around and we used buses and the Metro. The best souvenir store was "Marseille in The Box". 13 Rue Reine Elizabeth. It is opposite the Carrefore store outside The Bourse. The man who runs it has items that are made for him in Marseille and unique items that are not found in the souvenir stores on the waterfront. He also speaks English and has good information about visiting Marseille. Great restuarant: Il Trio, 29 Pl.aux Huiles. In big plaza just behind the waterfront. Delicious and large size platter at a reasonable price.

Nicole was especially warm and caring. We were pleasantly surprised with a basket filled with goodies and a bottle of champagne as they knew we were celebrating our wedding anniversary that weekend. Arrived early on the overnight train from Paris. Went to hotel expecting only to drop my bags, but the lady on reception allowed me to check in at 7:45am at no extra cost. Breakfast, though simple, was quite tasty and varied. Location very convenient just a few minutes walk from Vieux Port and Panier district.

The staff were absolutely lovely throughout our brief stay, the room was spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed. The location by the Vieux Port was ideal for wandering the area. The bed was comfortable - firm which we like. This was the second hotel we stayed in Marseille, and it was by far the best.
