lovely restored old chateau where the elegance of yesteryear furniture is complemented by modern amenities. The amenities are complete and designed for the total comfort of the guest; from a cosy bed to fast and reliable Wi-Fi, everything is in place to ensure a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Her friendliness and willingness to assist at any time make you feel more like a friend of the family than just another customer.     Nantua is set on a beautiful lake in a perfect setting. There is a great bar/restaurant beside the lake where you can while away an evening and watch the sun go down with a beautiful sunset over the lake. There are lovely walks and the town feels very peaceful.

    Lovely hotel overlooking the lake. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, although coffee came from a machine. Dog friendly … and good walks from the doorstep. The location is its selling point; it’s at the quiet end of the lakeside road, yet it takes just a few minutes to walk into the town. This is our second stay and we shall certainly return.

    Well located hotel, clean functional rooms with great showers. Very impressive restaurant. Really smart, delicious French food. Good value set menu at 38.5 euros for 5 courses. Waiting staff incredibly professional and attentative. We stayed here on our way back to the UK from skiing. At 2 hours from the resort, it was the perfect location.

    beautifully located on the lake Nantua. great spot for a night stay. really enjoyed a morning walk with my dog around the lake. also the restaurant is very good with a fair priced menu. even though the staff speaks little English, they made sure to accommodate me.

    Good room. Restaurant was a pleasant experience, though service was initially a little slow. Location of the hotel could not be better. This is somewhere that we want to return to for a longer stay.
