This is an excellent value for money in a good location. I have stayed many times and it always delivers. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this town. It is clean, accommodating, friendly and near the motorway network.

Anne and her husband are truly thoughtful hosts who have considered every detail to make guests feel at home. The apartment matched the listing perfectly and exceeded our expectations in comfort and convenience. It's set in a peaceful location, ideal for relaxing, and the air conditioning worked beautifully—especially appreciated during warmer days. The pool was a standout feature, perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was impressively well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the entire space was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. This is a lovely old auberge very recently in new ownership and with considerable character both in its setting close to a ruined abbey in a small historic village and its internal ambience with tiled floors and large open fire place. We have stayed here two years ago also in December. With the very charming new young owner there are very comfortable new beds and bathrooms and good traditional food with a simple menu.

Chateau de Fere is located just a 1 hour drive from Paris. This castle dating back to the 17th century offers a gastronomic restaurant, swimming pool and spa facilities.

Dinner in front of the fire, in the castle environment, was unique and brilliant. Dog Spotty felt like the King of the Castle, with lots of smells from nature to experience. The chief-host is one of the sweetest persons we have ever met and knows everything about the area (being born there).
