It was pretty amazing being in a refurbished castle. The staff were excellent, everyone we met was so kind and the rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The pool was an absolute bonus, especially on the hot days we had! Right in the heart of Sarlat too so easy to walk everywhere.

Whilst the Hotel is in two parts, the breakfast taken by the pool area and dinner in the main building, so there is a short walk between the two, choose what rooms you book. Best part was the staff, both reception and waiting staff, the grounds and peacefulness of the village and area. BUT the chef is exceptional, we ate both a la carte and demi pension and the choice and quality of the food was superb.

The hotel was in a great location for walking in to the Town centre. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile to decorate a room when they heard that one of the couples in our party were due to get married.

What an absolute gem! We didn’t know in advance that we would be in the tower room - what a fabulous surprise. Our overnight stay was faultless. Staff are very friendly. We used the secure off site car park: well worth doing in busy Sarlat. Our room was fabulous and so was breakfast. We knew in advance that the restaurant wouldn’t be open that night but all the more reason to return to try it and there is no shortage of other options on a Monday evening in Sarlat.

Great hotel in a great location. It's a 2 minute walk to the medieval centre. Room very clean and modern. Well equipped with aircon, fridge, safe, kettle and hairdryer. Love the attention to detail like extra pillows in the wardrobe. Very dog friendly. Will definitely stay again when visiting area.

    We visited downtown Sarlat and had such a lovely experience!

    We visited downtown Sarlat and had such a lovely experience! We also visited Château de Castelnaud & Les Jardins suspendus de Marqueyssac. I highly recommend visiting these places! The house itself is absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Plenty of space to spend together, while having your own rooms to retreat too. The outdoor space goes on forever and has plenty of activities to enjoy with adults and kids. The hosts are lovely! I definitely recommend staying here! We will be going back someday!
