The atmosphere in the house was amazing. We felt that each detail of the house was made and decorated with love and a good sense of beauty. We were so impressed by the view of the Abbey Le Mont Saint Michel from a small window of the bedroom. It's definitely worth staying here for several days. This place is ideal for families with children. The hospitality of the owners was at the highest level. It seemed we met our good old friends)

Location close to Mont Saint Michel, free parking nearby, nice atmosphere with main building with reception and breakfast and separate buildings with rooms a bit apart. Warm and helpful staff. Breakfast with sweet and savoury food, pay for breakfast or you’ll need to drive quite some time to get another one. Since you can park there and walk to the Mont Saint Michel, you might actually spare quite a lot of money from not paying the parking lot at the Mont Saint Michel (21€ for like 5-6h)

We were travelling up from the south west and needed a place to stop over for one night. We also wanted secure parking as we had electric bicycles on the back of the car and Hotel de La Croix d'Or was perfect. The food in the resturant that night was superb and a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice the next morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless. We were sorry to have only spent the one night in Avranches and would like to have had the time to explore it a bit more

Very beautiful property. We stayed there after our visit to Mont St Michel. They have very nice restaurant on the property and a beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing is that they don’t t have an elevator so you will need to carry your suitcase if you are not on a ground floor.
