I wasn't sure what to expect with part of the name being "rooms" and coming into reception behind the building, but it was just lovely. This is a lovely old hotel that has been fixed up very nicely. The man at the desk was so cheerful and helpful. There is a Thai restaurant in the building too that is loved by tourists and locals alike.. Our mattress was comfortable. We were 3 floors up that gave us a view of the lake there and it was nice to sit in the sunshine in the bay window

    Arbuthnott is a beautiful place to visit locals are friendly. Visited Arbikie distillery absolutely amazing. The Harbour Bar Restaurant in Gourton is amazing & so is The Anchor Pub restaurant in Johnshaven along with Lunan Beach which is amazing to visit, lovely walks.
