Excellent accommodation located in the centre of Banchory, balcony included. Perfect for long-term as well as short stays. Tastefully decorated, spacious, very comfortable and homely (all rooms) and spotlessly clean. Modern kitchen well equipped and fitted out with everything you need. Great views, pubs, shops, cafes and supermarket all within a very short walking distance. Personal car parking available in basement which is a bonus as well as the high functioning WiFi. Lynda, the manageress, was extremely helpful with a personal and charming key hand-over explaining how everything worked. Excellent communication with Duncan, the director. Best I've ever stayed at in Banchory. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, this time and on previous occasions.

A beautiful setting with the river running past.

A beautiful setting with the river running past. However our room facing the entrance and carpark made it very difficult to relax.Guests gather at the entrance and late at night it is very difficult to sleep. The staff were wonderful and helped us find alternative accommodation in the town . It is a shame we were not told about a wedding party so we could have made a choice whether to stay rather than listen to the celebrations which we fully understand would always be noisy.

Loved the quaint shops and country town feel of the place. Knowledgeable staff in the WH Smiths newsagents and lovely lunch at the pancake place and craft shop. Park was a beautiful place to visit and there was a well used Turkish/pizza establishment opposite the road near the car park which we enjoyed eating at. Very relaxing place to stay whilst visiting relatives at the nearby hospital.

Unfortunately we were only there for two nights for a sports event, we didn't have time to look around the area but the scenery was wonderful and there are a lot of interesting places to visit. Some nice pubs and places to eat. Well worth a visit.

Good places for dog walking if you have dogs and some dog friendly hotels to be found.(Really good pet shop too) Some good shops with local produce fish, baking delights and good outdoors shops. Feuch Bridge not to be missed! Both Castles very interesting

Lovely small town where everything you need is within a short walk. Great history with plenty of places to see. Lovely park with small lake. Plenty of parking. Lots of quality shops with good cafes/ coffee shops. Plenty of places to eat (restaurants/bars)

Location was easy to find, very close to centre of Banchory but snug away to make it feel excluded and quiet. 30 minutes from the centre of Aberdeen. Gorgeous views of the river from hotel room. Quirky parts of the building gave the hotel great personality. The staff were fantastic. Especially those working in the bar and restaurant. The food was lovely and had value for money. The room was clean. Included loads of tea and coffee of all types and included a coffee filter and tea pot. Included soaps and shampoos which smelt lovely.

We arrived at the hotel and were served a lovely lunch on the patio area. A bowl of water was brought for our wee dog without us needing to ask.:-) We had a visitor in the afternoon and were served tea in enchanting vintage china and silver teapots. Dinner did not disappoint in the gorgeous dining room, and breakfast with it's wide selection was just as lovely

Service was first class from being greeted on arrival by Leyland,then susie made us very welcome at lunch time and at breakfast which had multiple choices,We had a very good experience at the Hotel there wasn't anything we could complain about,Staff at this hotel go over and above to please their guests.And we will make a return visit in due course.

The apartment is well placed in the centre of Banchory. It was spotlessly clean, warm and well presented. The underground parking is a bonus, albeit the allocated space is a tight squeeze if you drive a larger vehicle.
