The castle is impressive and rightly the main attraction. Segontium also interesting though museum closed. Just had one meal out - very pleasant lunch opposite the castle. Meals at the hotel were excellent so did not venture further afield.

The main attraction is the castle, which is enormous and quite extraordinary. Needs a good couple of hours at least. The town is also interesting and colourful. Other attractions within relatively easy reach.

The area around the castle is quaint and attractive. There’s lots to explore in the castle and the displays are interesting and informative. For eating and drinking you’re spoilt for choice. There’s plenty of convenient parking and it’s not too expensive. It’s a good base for visiting nearby attractions.

If you want to climb Snowdonia, it is a great location and a 30 minute bus ride. Also, the castle's preservation is one of the best. A delightful town which is really trying to attract visitors.

The town is steeped in history, is a fantastic location, and an ideal base for wider exploration of Snowdonia . My interest was in the little steam trains of Wales, of which there are an abundance within easy reach by car from Caernarfon. I choose the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways, but during the summer, there are several others including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Llanberis Lake Railway. If you are prepared to venture further afield, to the south is the Talyllyn railway near Barmouth, the Fairbourne Railway, also near Barmouth and a bit further south at Aberystwyth, the Vale of Rheidol Railway, all of which I highly recommend.

Very clean, modern and spacious new cottage Superbly equipped with loads of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Fabulous storage in all bedrooms and kitchen, and very comfortable beds Very lovely quiet rural location and yet well located to explore North Wales and Snowdonia National park Many lovely walks available within a 20 min drive, and Caernarfon castle and the nearby beach are even closer at 10-15 mins

The location was perfect.. super easy to find. Wales roads can be challenging to navigate as a right side of the road driver and getting here was so easy!..also so close to Caernarfon castle and city (9 minute walk). Sunsets over the strait are beautiful. The park is well kept and staff are very helpful and friendly and quick to fix issues when they are on site..

This was a last-minute booking, as our original booking in Holyhead turned out to be in a very rough area where it wasn't safe to park our motorbikes. Great, very friendly staff. Big clean comfortable rooms. Allowed us to park the motorbikes directly outside the main doors 3min walk to town centre and Caernarfon castle.

The location is fantastic. Located right next to the castle and only a few yards from multiple restaurants and pubs. There is no parking at the hotel; however, there is a large public carpark directly behind the hotel that only charges £6.00+ for 24htr parking. What a deal!

This is a very well appointed basement flat which is extremely well placed for the steam railway, the castle and Caernarfon town centre. Living room was comfortable and stylish.
