Room was clean and well decorated. Staff very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Booked a table in the on site restaurant and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal at the hotel and the there was a good choice of food on the menu and quality of the food was very good, as was the breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend the hotel.

Extremely clean and a good location. Sean, the host, made us feel at home. Very good value for money - would recommend to anyone staying in Bishop Auckland. A good stopping place on the Northern Saints trail.

Beautiful glamping pod with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Lovely big shower, very comfortable big bed, good kitchen facilities and a comfy sofa. Nice homely touches made us feel very at home. Met the site manager on our first day who was very welcoming. Site is very easy to access and feels very safe. 2 lovely domes gave us the option of extra seating or to do some yoga. Stunning views from the domes and a lovely field full of horses. Plenty of grass to let our dog have a run around.

    The property was clean and spacious with 2 lounges and a dining room. The kitchen was well equipped and also included a table for more informal meals. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. We would happily stay again. We had a good meal at the Copper Mines pub which is walking distance from the property. The bus stop to Durham was also near by.
