One night stay with our Granson aged 9. Room and Breakfast was amazing. John & Sarah very welcoming. Breakfast included fry, cereal,toast, fruit,yogart pure orange, Tea Coffee. Room very spacious 1 double and 2 single beds. Onsuite bathroom Tea coffee facilities in room. Lovely home made cookies left for us and hot chocolate to enjoy Extra relaxing area outside our bedroom. Home from home comforts. We will be back. Thank you again John and Sarah 🙂🙂🙂.

The property was centrally located and was perfect for our day trip to the races. The accommodation was done to a high standard and all aspects were well thought out. We enjoyed a comfortable stay. The house is located in a stunning part of the world. Endless amounts of coastline to visit, it is in a very quiet town, however we did visit the local pub and was made very welcome by the locals. We went as 2 familes and was very spacious for us all and lots of room for the kids to play and the playground on the doorstep is ideal for families. We had a great time, and already have spoken about when we can return. Would highly recommend this hidden gem

The St. Patrick Cathedral is marvelous and the St.

The St. Patrick Cathedral is marvelous and the St. Pat Centre is quite informative. We really enjoyed the walk to the Balleynoe Stone Circle. If we returned the Mourned would be interesting to explore. They loom in the proximity abd are quire lovely.

Downpatrick town was uninspiring but the food from Murphys...

Downpatrick town was uninspiring but the food from Murphys Bar was tasty ,wholesome and cheap (and far more than we could eat!!) Easy reach of the Tulleymoor Forest - we had a wonderful 16K walk around taking in the spectacular Mourne scenery and some of the most magnificent trees I have ever seen. The river Shimna river running through it was spectacular. This is one not to miss

Downpatrick was the perfect location for exploring the...

Downpatrick was the perfect location for exploring the surroundings - Mount Stewart, Rowallane garden, Inch Abbey and Kearney Village. The town itself is rather bland, with very few options for a nice meal out. St.Patrick's Centre is worth a visit though! For good food head to the Dufferin Arms in Killyleagh.

Visit the museum up the road from Denvir's coaching inn. We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours or so there. After call in to the cathedral. It's really lovely. St. Patrick's grave is in the grounds. Have a drink in a 'local'. ...the Mirabelle (not sure of the name exactly) around the corner from Denvir's. The landlady is very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful place to visit St Patricks centre and grave well worth a visit .Scenery beautiful and loads of walks .Very easy place to drive park and tourist spots well signposted.We ate in Murphys bar down beside St Patricks centre beautiful food great menu and lovely staff.

Downpatrick is a quiet quaint town.

Downpatrick is a quiet quaint town. It is between Dundalk and Belfast. It is a nice two days, one night stop or just an overnight stop. It's also not far from Strangford where Castle Ward where part of Game of Thrones was filmed, specifically the Winterfell Castle. It has lots of hiking, biking and children activities.
