Great birthday night away something different other than a hotel , comfortable , didn’t feel like we was on the water was so stable , nice touch with bottle of Vicks fizz and choccys on the bed ! One thing we didn’t realise how our music or talking quite late would disturb others around us and we appologise for upsetting our host as she was so very kind and accommodating so be warned to keep noise levels to a minimum as is it in a residential area . Thankyou anyone will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and surroundings .

Booked this hotel last minute because our flight was canceled at the last moment. London was too far to go back to because we had an early flight in the morning again. Wanted to end the nice weekend with a nice hotel. And that it was indeed! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Would never of thought of it - used to staying in London - but this is definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit. Beautiful rooms, good service.

They upgraded my room at no additional cost in order to accommodate my additional child. I was also able to check in earlier than the listed time as I was coming in from a long flight and extremely tired. Within no time I got the extra bed set up in my room and everyone was out of our way so we could rest. The inclusive bathroom was something I've never experienced before but I'd recommend any special needs or disabled individual to Moxy

Oh my goodness in all the hotels I have stayed in I have I have never came across a hotel where every single one of the staff we interacted with were soo professional and friendly! We booked this hotel as there was issues with our flight to Derry so we needed a bed as we had travelled from Australia so with all the hassle at the airport we were simply exhausted. The lads up in the Skybar were so nice and the food was so tasty, well presented and reasonably priced! The other restaurant up on 6th floor is an Indian and the menu looked really good. Selection at breakfast buffet was really good and it was included in our room rate. Our room had massive double bed and great big shower with lovely toileteries. Ironing board and iron in wardrobe. Also had safe and a wee fridge too. Buses outside hotel run to Houslow so be handy for central London to get tube from there. A taxi from airport cost about £20. Buses do run from hotel to airport but didnt suit our times. And the bonus of our stay was check out time was 12midday!

    We loved the actual hotel.

    We loved the actual hotel. Redolent with memories of a past age it has been modernised discreetly and caters to every comfort. Set in spectacular grounds and including a spa and heated outdoor swimming pool, time just flies here. The food is delicious and very varied. The whole experience is set off by the staff: friendly, attentive and extremely pleasant. We shall certainly be returning to this delightful hotel.

    Apart from Winsor and Hampson Court not much locally unless going into London,which we didn't want to do.But it chilling out and using spa great for a short break. I imagine amazing for a wedding or special occasion.

    It's a university town, what can one say?

    It's a university town, what can one say? The nice thing is that it is small and actually quiet. There are a couple of nice restaurants and all the necessary shops. The train is convenient if you have to go to a bigger town for some shopping or you're on your way to London.

    Egham is an excellent base for visits.

    Egham is an excellent base for visits. Website tends to send people London bound and misses the wonderful Runnymede Meadows, Windsor Great Park, Savill Gardens, Virginia Water and Windsor itself, also Heathrow if you are interested in that. Always recommend Savill Garden and the wonderful freedom of Windsor Great Park. Bar 163 in the High Street offers good menu. Also a good base for several sporting events inc. RFU Twickenham etc,

    I loved walking through Runnymede & seeing some of the Magna...

    I loved walking through Runnymede & seeing some of the Magna Carta monuments. Mostly I wanted to see Writ in Water but I enjoyed others too https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/runnymede/features/turner-prize-winning-artist-to-create-new-work-to-celebrate-magna-carta There are marked paths taking you across fields, along the river Thames and in ancient woodland.

    We was only there as our daughter was graduating at royal Holloway university. The planes are constant but you are next door to Heathrow. Lively town center Plenty of places to eat and drink We recommend bray marina restaurant beautiful location on the river just outside of egham. The crown pub was excellent Would definitely stay a little further away from Heathrow only due to noise. Virginia waters amazing and free apart from parking £3.00 an hour.

    The apartment is perfectly located in Egham, close to the Royal Holloway and Windsor Castle. It was sparkling clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very nice and helpful hosts who were very prompt to answer all our questions and provide assistance when needed. They accommodated all our requests and were a pleasure to communicate with.     I stayed with my son and all the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. My son said it was the nicest hotel he has stayed in because the staff were all so nice and they made us feel like family! We loved the outdoor heated pool and hot tub!
