Expensive, Unique, Unforgiving, Achingly Beautiful, Exciting, Stylish, Artistic, Ugly, Friendly, Aggressive, Frustrating, Over-Rated, Under-Appreciated, Vibrant, Sexy - still the most schizophrenic and astonishing city in the World and still the most unique destination for any traveller. Nowhere has such a broad personality or offers so much of everything - yes, you've got to work hard to find it, but everything you could ever want is here. Great to visit, hellish to live in.

I was in London for a night out and i am a regular visitor and i work in London on occasion, it is what it is really, its too busy at times due to slacker and people accosting you offering personal service and other things illegal which can be daunting at times for some and put London in a bad light. loads of street traders that probably don't have a licence or insurance and who don't contribute to the UK's taxes either. a lot more of London streets should be car free as well to enhance the experience and even thou ULEZ and many other things are there to reduce emissions isn't working as there is too much traffic at a stand still most of the time.

We went to a concert and discovered lots of clubs that offer electronic DnB music, which is refreshing coming from Spain where everything is reguetón music. We went to the typical places like Kings Cross, London Eye, Big Ben, Picadilly Circus, etc... We got great views from The Garden at 120 and had great food at Camdem Market. You can use your credit card to pay for almost all transportation in the city center instead of having to buy an Oyster Card or similar, so don't do the big queues at the airport metro. Ask a guard just in case but most probably you won't need to buy a ticket. Just get your credit card near the reader and get in.

Apartments are very nice (newly renovated, I assume), well taken care of and quite spacious by London's standards. The kitchenette has all basic things to prepare simple meals (even salt and pepper were available) and the hotel provides you with a laundry room to use free of cost. Very nice area around the hotel with typical Victorian architecture and lots of small parks (although private ones). 5 min walk to Earl's Court underground, many eateries around it and 5 min to a very big supermarket: Sainsbury's. Totally recommended!

My 4th time staying at St Athans and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive each time. Staff are friendly, Zeeshan in particular was very warm and helpful with the check in experience. Location is perfect and the hotel is always clean and up to a good standard. In terms of value for money it is everything I need. I travel for work and even though my company have now moved office across London, I will continue to stay at St Athans because of the great service and fantastic value for money.

I’ve been staying in cheap hotels part of the week for work since moving out of London about a year ago and have stayed in some ok places and some real dives (Not looking at you Forest Gate Hotel…) The Amhurst is easily the best of the lot so far. It was super clean, the owner was really friendly and it was generally cozy. Top marks. Bonus tip: ten minute walk away is a chip van that does the best fish and chips in London! Is a hotel with few apartments. Clean and nice. The manager explain as everything we must know about the area and how to spend the time in our favor. We decide to park the car at hotel and walk to train station 5 min. There with the train is another 20 min to big Ben center of London. Is much comfortable then driving and search parking in middle of town. Next to Lyall, is a very nice restaurant with various food, not very expensive.

Lone traveler, stayed one night. Very roomy for a London budget hotel. Stayed at the top floor where the roof was slanted which might cause issues for taller people but the actual room was very spacious compared to most cheaper London hotels. Room and bed were clean. Location is excellent, especially if you are interested in visiting Westfield shopping center more frequently, and there are two tube stations really close by.
