Super friendly staff. We checked in quite late around 8-9pm. The staff was really care whether we are hungry and would like anything for dinner. The chef stayed pass his time to cook a meal for us. We really appreciated it. The room size is very spacious and clean. Breakfast is great. Big car park.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Breakfast is cooked and excellent. We had dinner in the hotel as well and I can only recommend it most highly. The fish is absolutely delicious and dessert and cheese are stunning.

We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival and got plenty of good advice for things to do around the area and where to eat. After quite a cold day, it was lovely to return to the hotel and have a cosy drink by the fire. Loved the sea views from the hotel.

Tammie Norrie Cottage is amazing, very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds. Great location with sea views and a short walk across the playpark to the beach . The playpark is great for the little ones and because the location is not in town or residential area is not too busy but is open to the public. There is a wee shop on the caravan park that sells basic essentials in high season. The Premier shop in Whitehills has a small cafe and does home delivery of fresh home cooked food and groceries for a small £1.50 delivery charge. We had freshly cooked Scottish breakfast delivered piping hot on several days. Phone signal is patchy at times so if it is important to you then maybe this is not the right location. The area is notorious for poor signal but that didn't bother us in the slightest because there is good wifi.

    Our dad was born in Macduff and lived there for the first...

    Our dad was born in Macduff and lived there for the first twenty years of his life. We actually returned to scatter his ashes. It was both bittersweet and wonderful to walk in his footsteps, and the footsteps of our ancestors.The views are simply wonderful, as are the people.

    I was visiting family in Macduff but the area is golf heaven...

    I was visiting family in Macduff but the area is golf heaven, photographers will be overwhelmed with the beauty of the area, walkers are spoiled for choice and the fun that can be had on the sea is amazing.
