The property was absolutely great, a magical cabin fully stocked with everything you could need and more! Coffee, teas, movies… and many more. The location is unbeatable and the photos represent the views exactly. From the patio you see the Isle of Skye, Egg and Rum. It is magnificent. A fabulous, brand new property with awesome views of the sea. The house is spacious and well appointed. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, supplied with more than 1 pod!

Location is about 2.5 miles out of Morar.

Location is about 2.5 miles out of Morar. Morar is a lovely wee village. No shops only the Hotel which in our opinion was poor standards. That said we were there in November out of season . However for the price we would have expected better service and quality. Mallaig is lovely as is the surrounding area. We wont be back , sadly the hotel experience spoiled a very special birthday.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome. They had the knack of knowing when we needed help. we always felt the staff had time for us - as it should be, There is no lift and as 'older', to put it mildly, visitors, the climb to our room on the third floor was a bit like climbing Ben Nevis and the descent was even more difficult with our dodgy knees. We had chosen a sea view room and it turned out these are on the higher floors. The staff could not have been more helpful, short of carrying us up and down on their backs, and made sure we knew they would carry things up and down for us.

A beautiful hotel in an exceptional location.

A beautiful hotel in an exceptional location. The staff and service are excellent. Tuan looked after us throughout our stay and made sure we enjoyed our stay as well as making our much loved dog welcome. We felt very much at home here and are already planning a return visit.

Beautiful spot, if I'd stayed longer I could have explored more on foot. But other than the station, the hotel, and a Thai takeaway with a notice saying they were sold out, there's not much there.

The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

Small West highland village served by rail and road. Wonderful beach. Close to other first class attractions . Glenfinnan monument viaduct Mallaig 3 miles away is gateway to the isles via various Cal Mac ferries.

Perfect setting, within easy reach of Mallaig, Arisaig, Glenfinnan and Fort William. Also only a hundred yards from Loch Morar which has to be THE most beautiful Scenery in the World. Dark sky area for star gazing. Good restaurant very close by in Morar. The 'Harry Potter' steam train runs through Morar. The 'cottage' was perfect for us and everything was provided, including a welcome pack with extras like washing-up liquid, washing machine 'tabs', tea and biscuits etc. It really couldn't have been better.

We had a fantastic stay at Glenwood B&B. The host, Claire, was outstanding, friendly and very helpful. Very airy, spacious room, nice big comfortable bed. The graze box breakfast was very tasty and substantial. Glenwood sits in a lovely location a short walk from the Silver sands of Morar, we hope to return in the future.

For a budget hotel it is ok. It’s a lovely area and the two sea view rooms we booked did have lovely views and were ok rooms. The breakfast was nice and there are a few board games in the lounge to play. The shower had good water pressure and was hot. You could also adjust the temperature in the room on the radiator.

The location was perfect for easy access to beaches in morar, as well as the ferry terminal to go to Skye. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was also great and really easy having it pre-prepared and in our room.
