We stayed here for 3 nights and we really loved the place. Situated in a nice, peaceful site. Which included many things such as a basketball court, bar and cafe, takeaway pizza place and easy access to the beach. A stones throw away from the main Dovercourt beach area. An ideal location for anyone looking to get away and relax by the sea and at a reasonable price. Dealing with the owner of the holiday home was a pleasure. She was very kind and didn't bother us at all. The home was clean and had all that you would need. Everything was working correctly and if there were any issues, all it needed was one phone call. Fortunately there were no issues at all. We love the area of Harwich and we would definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends.

Of our two week travel from Denmark through north-west Germany, the Netherlands and eastern England, the Pier Hotel was undoubtedly the best in all aspects: staff, facilities, price and a beautiful breakfast. We will certainly book again when we travel between Harwich and Hook of Holland.

Very cosy, warm and inviting place to stay. Well equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and comfortable lounge and bedroom. Bathroom was clean and of a good size. Hosts kept open communication during my stay when required.
