We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which has amazing interieur, an incredibly spacious and luxurious bathroom and a fantastic view from the bay window. The well-maintained building blends perfectly in its surroundings on the cliff road. It is also a perfect starting point for walks through the town. Very friendly and helpful personnel.

Love it!

Love it! We spent our honeymoon there 45 years ago and we had a wonderful time taking a trip down memory lane, despite the awful weather! We had dinner at the Mermaid Inn ,which was delicious and where we spent our honeymoon. We also had a few drinks at the Waterworks- an excellent Micro brewery

Rye is a very pretty place.

Rye is a very pretty place. As our stay was in November all the Christmas lights were up which added to its charm. There are a lot of independent shops, restaurants and bars. Definitely a place we would visit again.

This was my second visit to Rye this year, but was well worth the effort to see the Rye Fawkes pageant with the Malcolm Saville Society. Lovely walks around Rye Harbour and from Appledore. Great food at Simply Italian on Sunday evening. Another climb to the top of St Mary the Virgin's tower on Monday morning in glorious sunshine to see the views before departing.

Rye is an interesting historic small town.

Rye is an interesting historic small town. It’s worth walking around all of it and visiting places. We visited the Ypres tower, a good insight to some of the towns history. The cobbled streets and old buildings are amazing, takes you back in time. There is a good amount of shops and eating places of all cuisines available.

This was my 3rd trip to Rye in 2 years and this time I finally managed to see the Story of Rye told with the town model in the Heritage Centre. It really helped me understand the layout and history you find walking round the old streets. The view from the church tower is absolutely stunning and well worth the climb!

What an absolutely lovely place! The room was immaculate - that bath is exceptional! - with a gorgeous window looking out over Rye and super comfy bed. Tunnnocks in the room and a tea and coffee making facilities! Absolutely delicious restaurant, too - we had breakfast both mornings (exceptional!) and dinner on the first night. Definitely go for a lychee margarita! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were extremely careful and thoughtful with my nut allergy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rye.

The room was small but ok for the one night we had booked, bed very comfortable and bathroom satisfactory. Nice addition to have a happy hour in the bar…..two large Malbec for £9, bargain! Breakfast was good…although the coffee not so great. Overall, happy with the amount paid for a stay in Rye compared to other hotels
