We have just had a wonderful three night stay at Redmore. Joy lived up to her name and was an absolute delight. She could not have done anything more to make our stay more comfortable or pleasurable. She is a wonderfully chatty and engaging host and with her husband made us very much at home from home. The house is a converted terrace of cottages which is quaint and colourfully decorated. The bedroom although not big is very comfortable and everything you could want was provided.The cottage is beautifully clean and it was a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy the garden and cup of tea on arrival.

Our apartment was very well equipped with all that we needed and masses of power points. It had a huge, comfortable bed, a living/dining area and a very spacious bathroom. Its situation, right in the middle of Truro, was perfect and unexpectedly peaceful. Also parking and a good breakfast was included in the price.

The staff are so nice and thoughtful, we arrived earlier and we wanted to leave the luggages and they let us checking in in one of the rooms that was already available. We also needed two gluten-free options and they were so kind to provide a lot of options for us. We had lunch one day as well and it was delicious. What a great experience!

Great accommodating friendly staff., who said they’d keep the kitchen open if we were late as been working. We had a refurbished room, not big but ok for a couple, which was very nice with super comfy bed, nice decor and a good power shower. Breakfast was good too. Ample parking

    There are some lovely walks and cycle ways close to the village, old mine works and interesting buildings. There are a few nice pubs in the area for food or a chat with the locals. Can recommend the Star inn, St Day. great beer garden, play area, dog friendly, nice pub grub!
