Loved the Stag at Stow, the old hotel was well-fitted out and we loved our suite. The food was unbelievable and being in the little town of Stow on the Wold was very special, walking the little town after exploring the Cotswold.

We just stayed at Number Four at Stowe and absolutely loved the experience from the very beginning. I wish we would have booked 1 more night. I was traveling with my husband and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room in the family room for everyone. We loved the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies that the staff stocked the room with, and the bathroom was stocked with high end shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. At the end of our second day here we enjoyed sitting behind the hotel in the table and chairs, relaxing while the kids ran in the field and watched the sheep next door. We had an absolutely wonderful time here and would love to come back.

We were on a schools visit in the area. First time in the Cotswolds. This hotel was so warm and welcoming. Booking.com did not inform the hotel that we were 3 so they didn't know to prepare the room. Instead, the woman at reception offered us another room for our teen daughter. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly styled, great showers, and generous and delicious breakfasts. Right in the center of Stow on the Wold across from the oldest inn in England, The Porch House. Their restaurant was delicious too. Had their version of a sticky toffee pudding (with banana rum sauce) and it was yummy!

Helen and Graham gave us a very warm welcome, provided a wonderful breakfast every day and also gave us with good local tips. The B&B has small but nice (& clean) rooms and is the ideal base for exploring the north east cotswolds. We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

Charming small Cotswold town, centrally located, but as with every place in the world that you recognize the name, it was crowded with tourists, but by 9 pm everyone fades away and it is a lovely quiet town in the evenings.

We had a birthday celebration dinner at the Sheep in Sheep Street which was great, staff could not do enough for us. We also recommend the breakfast at the Hive and the service is great and food was also good. The won has plenty of other places but these two stood out for us.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Oh, and the cocktails! 🍸 We’ll definitely be back.

Our boutique hotel bedroom was quirky, beautifully presented and oh so comfy with lots of beautiful touches included. We ate at the pub and the food/service was great - as was the lovely continental breakfast. Stay here, I'm sure you would not be disappointed. Location brilliant on the Town Square, we arrived later in the afternoon and parking was easy/convenient.

Check in was really easy, apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The Enclosed Garden area was great for our dog Rocky and the location of the apartment was brilliant and only a short walk to the centre where there are many pubs/restaurants and cafes to choose from. A great find and would definitely stay here again 5 stars.

Lovely hotel with a very warm and friendly feel. Staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful plus the food and drinks are all of a high standard and good value. The location is about as central as you can get plus there is parking which is a bonus. Great location for exploring Stow on the Wold and ideal for that short stumble home after the pubs close.
