I was happy with the stay very much. The both of interior and exterior are traditional and tasteful. I felt like I was in a fairy tale world. The location is just perfect (the best part is that the famous Huffskin is just 10sec from there!) in the center of the village. I appreciated that they provided several options of breakfast. My friend and I had different dishes, but both of them were very tasty. I want to bring my parents next time.

Very lovely and cozy, nice staff, good breakfast and well insulated rooms (especially as they are above a bar). The shower was powerful and hot in the best way! Loved the window seat and the cute skew window that gave the room that old-timey feel.

My sister and I stayed at The Sheep for a long weekend and couldn't have been happier with our choice! The staff were exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble. They even helped us with our heavy suitcases with a smile :) We had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very happy with both the choice and quality of the food. The bar area was comfortable and again, the service excellent. We wanted to stay somewhere that we wouldn't need to drive if we didn't want to, and The Sheep was perfectly situated for the restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and shops in town. Just step outside the front door! We have recommended the Sheep to our family and friends.

Charming small Cotswold town, centrally located, but as with every place in the world that you recognize the name, it was crowded with tourists, but by 9 pm everyone fades away and it is a lovely quiet town in the evenings.

We had a birthday celebration dinner at the Sheep in Sheep Street which was great, staff could not do enough for us. We also recommend the breakfast at the Hive and the service is great and food was also good. The won has plenty of other places but these two stood out for us.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Stownes is an exceptional apartment right in the heart of beautiful Stow on the Wold. It exudes luxury and every little detail has been thought of. We have stayed in Stow many times and this was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Jane, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one, by providing a lovely welcome package, stocked cupboards and a drinks bar. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very cosy and comfortable. We would highly recommend Stownes as a fantastic place to stay when visiting The Cotswolds.
