the welcome at reception was exceptional- even got a hand written welcome card! I've travelled extensively and this accommodation stands out - and ticks all the boxes. Central to so many bars, restaurants, shopping, galleries and other attractions. An unexpected bonus was the small fridge and expresso coffee machine with capsules, wine glasses, bottle opener...I could go on!! Outstanding!!

Excellent hotel, perfectly placed for visiting Liverpool and exploring the sights. It is opposite the Philharmonic Hall, if you are at a concert and it is a late finish, this hotel is ideal for you. Beds are very comfortable, choice of pillows, lovely bathroom products in individual bottles, and good quality Breakfast is continental, £10, plenty of fresh fruit, cereal yogurts, fresh pastries and unlimited tea or coffee.. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Lime Street station. The hop on hop off bus stops outside. The staff are very helpful. Definitely a place to stay.

    Compact room in shabby chic characterful house with friendly host but limited security. Fridge for a pint of milk and a snack, hot water dispenser, microwave, TV with all the channels if you want it and good wifi supplied. Bed a little too soft for me but room is fine if you just need a bed for a few nights.

    Upton nice area .good bus to town of Chester..Lots of eating places ..Upton road if staying in week will be night mare as lots of yellow no parking .& In week & day time weekend there be no parking as people working & hospital across way there is no parking anywhere ..
