Go for a standard sized room not the small, its exactly what it says on the tin, small. But this is definitely not a complaint, as tea & coffee, mega shower, comfy bed but just a bit snug getting down the sides of the bed for us 6 footers with big feet. We were supposed to be camping but the weather had turned before we could camp…. After a night in the car I looked for a budget hotel and found the Willows Training Centre…… To our surprise this hotel turned out to be far better than your Travel lodges!!….. Ok the room was a little small but it was sold as a small double, so we did expect it!! The room was clean, comfortable and exceeded expectations!….. perfectly good bathroom and shower - just could have done with more towels!! The room we were in was out the back and away from noise , so you could have the window open! The Woodlands self catering accommodation, a Bed-sitting room / Living room was larger than I expected from the photographs. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and well equipped. The property was located in a quiet area of the garden, the patio overlooked a small woodland area. Very peaceful. i took some light slippers with me, which I used as the floor is tiled with two rugs. The Air Con/ Heater on the wall was efficient as the evening got cooler.
