Elo and her family were really amazing hosts! The food, the company and the cultural interest were just fabulous, we really enjoyed our stay in their guesthouse and would definitely visit them again if we ever go back to Svaneti.

The room was newly renovated, very spacious and fragrant. Beautiful balcony with a view. We felt very comfortable here, the owner took care of us like family, she treated us well, played a musical instrument for us while we ate, she was very nice and we fell in love with her and her family even for such a short time. We can only recommend it 👌🏻😊

Great place ,amazing people ,very clean ,hot water ,shared space with kitchen coffee and tea and kitchen equipment. The lady, Mama Georgia ,makes us for 2 days dinner and breakfast that was excellent and exciting every time, with alot of love . thank you Mama giorgia we will miss you

Lovely place to stay in Ushguli. People at the reception are very helpful (helped us organize activities and the trip back to Mestia), rooms are nice and clean, there is no problem with access to the shared bathroom. The owner's dogs are huge and very friendly, and the little puppies were the cutest and an absolut highlight of our trip.

The two sisters are mainly responsible for reception. They have good English skills and are particularly friendly. They can provide all help and information about Ushguli for guests. Our couple moved in with our daughter, and the host enthusiastically upgraded us to a family room. It is particularly commendable that the geographical location is excellent, and the best camera position is on the high tower slope in front of the door, suitable for taking panoramic photos with snow mountains as the background. The breakfast at the guest house is very rich, and the quality of the dinner exceeds that of the surrounding restaurants.

Simple accommodation with authentic atmosphere. The food served was excellent, and the cozy warmth was exactly what we needed after getting soaked in the rain. The owner was helpful and even arranged transportation for us for the following day. It was a perfect place to dry off, relax, and enjoy delicious local dishes. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a true local experience and helpful hosts.

Exceptional experience. Out of 5 guesthouses we stayed in during our time in Georgia the food here was by far the best, and the family was beyond friendly and helpful. Ushguli is a beautiful place to spend a night after a long hike, and the family at Old House will make you feel at home. Be ready to have some cha cha with dinner :)
