If you want to spend time in the mountains, watch starry sky and Milky Way at night and have all comforts of civilization - this is the place. Cottages are located in a small quiet village on a mountain slope, no other touristic properties nearby. Perfect for stay on your way to Upper Svaneti and for longer digital detox vacation. The place is owned by local family, the owner is very friendly and attentive to details, and speaks English and Russian. Everything about interior is perfectly comfy and organized, from matress and pillows to convenient position of sockets. Food is delicious, you can ask for breakfast, lunch and dinner, both Georgian or simple European dishes. Internet connection (wi-fi and cell) sometimes goes weak, but this is normal for such a secluded mountain spot, and for us was not a problem, because we wanted to switch off.

Agra Ushguli is a place made with heart. They’ve thought about every single detail, from the beautiful accommodation and thoughtful design to the extremely delicious food. Our stay was very special here so we spent an extra night in Ushguli! The location is perfect, the vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty and very creative. Rooms and common spaces are feels like home but the biggest benefit is the host lady! She is very a kind person with huge heart. We had nice talks and I felt real and deep connection between us! Beautiful and smiling hostess, good location, cleanliness, extraordinary bed. Delicious and nutritious dinner.The family has horses and we planned a trip to Shkhari which was out of the ordinary. I will return to the old tower. I recommend it.

It was the second time when we stayed at Mshvidoba, and everything was great. Although we were a big group (8 people) we fit in comfortably. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly, as last time.
