A Boutique Paradise – Contessina Suites & Spa, Zakynthos Our stay at Contessina Suites & Spa was absolutely unforgettable – truly one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the very beginning, we felt the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and attentive staff. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

I usually do not write reviews, but I wanted to take my time for this one. I would like to thank the entire Olea team for truly a wonderful holiday. I stayed for 1 week and had the private pool suite with sea-view booked. The staff at this hotel was probably the friendliest i have experienced. Everyone from the front desk, concierge to waiters were wonderful. I would like to say a special thank you to Ellie from the concierge, and Melia and Christina from the front desk who made my stay amazing and went out of their way for that. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We truly had a great time and really enjoyed everything from the food, the pool, the spa, as well as restaurants. Overall, the vibe of this hotel is great and something i would always come back for. I cannot wait to come back again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

The area is close to the sea but not in the center of Tsilivi. It's more quiet and perfect location to relax. The view was to die for. We loved the sunrise view from our balcony. There was plenty space for parking the car. The room was clean and minimal, which we loved. All the staff (reception, service, owner) were very friendly and gave us great tips and recommendations for food drinks and all the best beaches and spots on the island. The pool was very clean and the whole place was surrounded by olive trees. It creates a secure and relaxed area. We didn't swim in the pool because we went to all the beaches the hotel owner recommended to us, but we will definitely try it next time. Would come back 100%.

Our all around experience here was excellent. We travelled with a 5-year old and were extremely satisfied with their Kids Club which you book through the hotel app. There are no added fees and can be booked every day minus Sunday from 10-1 pm and 3-6 pm. The layout and design of the rooms and the hotel premises in general is clever and tasteful. The breakfast is plentiful, special kudos to whomever is baking the canelés, cinnamon buns etc. Also, cocktails by the pool are a must! Staff is accommodating and friendly. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, the hotel has plenty of free parking and all the amenities are there (gym, spa, pool bar etc.).

The hotel is situated on a sandy beach. Localisation is very practic, especially if you travel with children: coming into the sea through only few small stones (you don't need water-shoes, there are no algae, etc.), water is clean and not deep. It is also possible to rent sunbeds with umbrella for 20 Euro (in the price of hotel there are only sunbeds near to swimming pool included), but you can take also your own blanket and ley to the sand. Traveling from airport there is possibility of taking taxi (guaranted 25 Euro) or public bus in front of exit from the airport, near to colour map (3 Euro), but it comes only 6 times for the day and you need to change the bus for another (2 Euro) at Zakhyntos bus center, where conection is more often, usually every 60-90 minutes (direction Tsilivi, Tragaki).  You finally get off at "Tsilivi 1" bus stop and go 10 minutes on foot. Check-in is to do in the previous building of Tsilivi Hotels  where you also receive your breakfast and any help if you need (reception of Palazetto is permanently closed). The staff is helpful, towels new everyday, my room was eclxactly like on pictures.

Too busy with British tourists, lacks nice restaurants and the beaches are a long way away from most of the hotels. Vasilikos much nicer all-round and we even preferred Laganas over Tsilivi even though that was super busy as well with drunken teenagers. Water park was meh also.

If you like to be in the center of the action (restaurants, bars, night life), Tsilivi is a good spot. If you are searching for something more relaxed, i advise to search for other locations in the island. Tsilivi is probably the best basis to visit all the rest of the island, very centered, but we were looking for a more relaxed and less"touristic" area.

To me, it looks like a town organized for English tourists.

To me, it looks like a town organized for English tourists. To much places, pubs are offering Sky Sports and specific European food. I prefer to see local taverns, with local food, local products and local music. Also, the city is family oriented. I highly recommend Yum Yum for food, Living Coffee for coffee, Trenta Nove Restaurant for a great desert and wine. Near the port, I recommend LIMANAKI Restaurant for great food and a great sunset view. As for the beach, I recommend the beach in front of Makai Resto Bar.

We loved Tsilivi, it is not too quiet and not too busy.

We loved Tsilivi, it is not too quiet and not too busy. There are plenty of good restaurants, the beach is very nice as well with a smooth entry in the water and a long distance until it becomes too deep. Most of the beach has suneds, a pair + an umbrella starts at 20 euros a day. There are also a few places to go for fun activities such as mini golf, bowling, pool and a game arena. The city is very close to the airport and other cities around that are worth a visit.

We found Tsilivi to be absolutely lovely and very convenient – a place where you can find everything you’d want on vacation. There are plenty of sea sports and activities for all ages, along with many nice restaurants, bars, pastry shops, bakeries, and even apothekes, so you’re never missing anything. It’s a lively yet family-friendly area, offering something for everyone in our family to enjoy. Another big plus is its location – being so close to Zakynthos Town, you can get there in less than 15 minutes. Truly a great base for both relaxation and exploration!

We have been there 14 times over the past 25 years. Tsilivi town gets rammed in the evening and getting more so each year. The beach at Tsilivi is clean and shallow, but a strong current pushes you along the beach, not dangerous but you won't get out where you entered. So keep an eye on your children. The restaurants are a plenty, food same old. A few stand out. A fun place to visit, and well worth going to if you have never been.

Great hotel! Staff were amazing and helpful, room was really spacious and clean and modern! Best night sleep I’ve had for a long time! Cleaners were also lovely! About a 5 min slow walk with a toddler to the beach but lots of shops around. Really quiet at night. Breakfast was great from fresh watermelon, hot food, pancakes, cheeses, orange juice and breads. Will definitely be back!

It was at a quieter part of Tsilivi, the breakfast was good, though every second day the same. The cook never smiled at you or greeted you. The receptionists were very helpful. One day we had acqua aerobic that we enjoyed very much (adhoc organized). They should have that in their portfolio. The hotel is very nice and clean, beds are comfy.

We loved everything, one of the best holidays we have ever had. The staff were very kind and helpful. The food was delcious with a wide choice. The hotel is right on the beach, a little bit quiter, but there are shops, restaurans about 100 meters, tha capital is about 15 minutes by car, taxi 15 euro, airport about 20 minutes, 27 euro.

Zante View is a fabulous location winning walking distance to the main strip of restaurants, shops and beaches in Tsivili. the room was great value for money and cleaned everyday. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again :)
