The breakfast was great. Upon arrival the TV and bathroom fan were not working and the staff left no stone unturned to replace the fan as well as install a new TV.

Rooms are typical cave type rooms new renovated with windows at the ocean. We had a terrace few steps away from our room with beautiful sun-set view. The staff is extremely friendly, very helpful and breakfast were excellent. The hotel has a great location - it is located in the town which has everything you need and is very quiet in comparison to towns like Fira (15 min walk) or Oia. We rented a scooter and visited everything we wanted and everything was close. We definitely recommend the hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable, it felt a little dark as faced shady area from tree, but was straight out to bright, shared terrace, with lovely views.
Quiet location but very convenient to restaurants. It was on a level down a few steps from main pathway so not too many steps up and down .
There were some snacks and drinks left for us ,which was unexpected and appreciated.

Firostefani in our opinion is a perfect place to stay in Santorini. Cheaper than Oia, and with views just as good or even better. We stayed in Oia ten years ago, and it was wonderful. But as far as sunsets, nothing beats the sunsets we saw from our balcony in Firostefani. Also, we were walking distance from both Fira and Imerovigli. The same cannot be said about Oia. My wife and I rented an ATV close by and were able to drive around the whole island. An unforgettable experience.

I highly recommend Firostefani for a home base while on Santorini. Close to restaurants and grocery store and only a 10-minute walk to Fira (nightclubs, bars). The hike (9km, moderate difficulty) from Firostefani to Oia was the best hike ever: Breathtaking, natural beauty, incredible views overlooking the caldera.

Around a km or so uphill from the main market of Fira.
Around a km or so uphill from the main market of Fira. If you'd like to stay in a calmer, more relaxing place it's Firostefani. Returning back from the town to Firostefani square is 15 euros by taxi, it's an uphill walk so mind it. Plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes. Amazing views and close to The Three Bells.

We stayed in Santorini for 8 days whichw as too long.
We stayed in Santorini for 8 days whichw as too long. We did a trip to Crete for only 4 days and should have switched that around as Crete is a much bigger island with more to do.
In Santorini we booked taxis ahead of time for transfers and we ended up catching buses in between which was much cheaper and more fun!
Weather in October was nice but chilly in the evenings.
Santorini has a lot of stairs. On our arrival, we were met by a gentleman who managed to carry our 4 large suitcases, 2 at a time, down the long flight of stairs to the hotel. He did the same for our departure. Incredible service.
Hotel was cool - built into the mountain like a cave. Amazing views, especially from our room's private rooftop deck with hot tub. Amazing place to have a glass of wine and soak up the sunset views.
Location was excellent. Surrounded by restaurants and a short walk from Fira, the center of town.
Good Location. Downside (by nature of the place) is you have to take a lot of steps to climb down/up like majority of the hotels in Santorini. Apartment was well maintained and traditional cave apartment. Fits 5 to 6 people easily or small families. Costas(manager) was extremely helpful in giving recommendations on things to do and places to eat. All of them were superb. Yannis (porter) helped with carrying the luggage from car parking to the house and a walk through. That is very much needed as the steps are more and steep.
The villa we had was very good big enough for up to 3 people, Breakfast was very nice but it was a bit cold and windy to sit outside next to the pool which is where it is served. In summer I'm sure that would be lovely. Thank goodness for the gentleman who carried our bags up 3 flights of stone stairs and back again when we left as this was a hard climb. All in all a nice stay and so long as you are fairly fit and can climb the steps I( would recommend it. Location as fine we could walk into Santorini with no problems.
I really satisfied with the quality of
Service provided by villa illias.. They allowed early check in(depends on availibility of room) also guided us very well on the major spots to visit in Santorini. Also, staffs are really friendly and helpful. Now coming to the other features of hotel, it has got a wonderful caldera , city, seaside view from balcony..also a nice pool.
Breakfast was really good all days and airport transport was also arranged.. They strictly follow covid 19 restrictions.
This hotel is located right on the caldera rim in Santorini and the views are spectacular. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming with lots of lovely inclusions including drinks in the mini bar and a local dessert wine. The rooms are very comfortable and include a small sink and refrigerator and a balcony to look at that amazing view. The breakfast included in the rate was amazing with fresh fruits and pastries along with a toastie, small pancakes, boiled egg - I could go on and on.
The best is the wonderful treat of Nikos and Eva. They make feel you as a beloved friend. Perfect place for a very good price in expensive santorini, placed in Firostefani 14 min walking to center of fira for take buses for going everywhere in the island, very near the fantastic view with the 3 bells church. The big terrace where to eat with the view to the sea is so nice, u can enjoy the sunrise in the sea from the apartment, just very good
Iveta organised a taxi for us from the airport which was such a big help, when we arrived she was there to greet us, gave us a tour and sent a massive recommendation list of things to do in Santorini, she was incredibly helpful with any questions we had during our stay and even let us stay past check in so we weren’t wondering around hours waiting for our ferry, incredibly thankful and couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
From the moment I walked in, everything was beyond amazing. The room was like a dream, the service was exceptional, and the food was out of this world! 🍽️🛌
But what truly made it special was the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure I had a fantastic time. 🌟
I can’t recommend any other hotel in santorini for the value of money 💰
It’s located in Firostefani, just a nice walk from Thira. Located up in a hill, so climing back and forth for the room not needed. It’s a quiet and small hotel with magnificent view - just to get right Santorini feeling. There is no pool but that didn’t bother us. Enjoyd their famous sunsets right from balcony. Easily could stay there again.
On the day of the arrival the receptionist was really friendly and gave us a map and indications of the most attractive spots in Santorini. The room was great with a cute balcony and the hotel had a nice swimming pool. Overall was a great price/quality relationship and the staff was always very helpful making it a great place to stay!
Amazing view, stylish room. Dramatic small pool. Incredibly picturesque hotel. Kostas on reception was SOOO lovely and funny. He put a third chair on the balcony for us so we could enjoy the sunset and breakfast as a family. Perfect for our last night treat in Greece before flying home from Santorini airport.
We actually did like everything..!! The best option to enjoy the sunset in Santorini. Stuff is amazing, location is perfect - restos, cafes, bars, bus stop not that far away. Frankly speaking, you can even walk to nearest cities - Fira and Imerovigli. Open terrace, jacuzzi, good breakfast and cleanliness!!
The apartment had everything we required in a freshly renovated house one minute from the magical sunset view.
Firostefani is a great location for a stay in Santorini and Villa Fotini is the affordable top class place to stay. We will be back
Literally everything!!! it’s the best place to stay in Santorini from location, price & service perspectives…you will not be able to find better…you can’t imagine how lovely and hospitable are the hotel owners…we will definitely come back…
The property was centrally located with a spectacular view. It was spacious and clean. Service was exceptional. The breakfast and pool area were very accessible and just another awesome view of the Santorini sunrise and sunset.
A small very nice boutique hotel. When you book an hotel in Santorini that is on the cliff, the view is always breathtaking. The staff were absolutely amazing! We had a room at the pool level and it felt like a private pool.
Beautiful hotel, the staff is Kindly and will help with anything you need! We just fall in love with the place, will come back for sure and we recommend for everyone! Thank you Homeric poems for perfect stay in santorini
Exceptionally clean accommodation with the all important view to visit Santorini for. Good value. Panos a great host, bewhich made for a very pleasant stay. Hotel exceeded expectations in all areas.
