Kerkini lake is really romantic and it is worth to go there!
Kerkini lake is really romantic and it is worth to go there! There were hundreds of pelicans and flamingos. We also tasted the very famous buffalo meat. Amazing place ad we'll definitely come back again.

The room (I went for a superior studio) was excellent. Really nicely done with comfy bed, kitchenette, obviously ensuite, and plenty of space. It was also very clean. The surroundings are nice and you are very close to the lake - although you need to walk down the road that runs alongside the lake to get to it. The lady who effectively runs it day-to-day, Vasileia is brilliant. You're also quite close to the village of Kerkini (5 min drive) where there are several good tavernas and a decent mini-super market + cafe.

The apartment is spacious and cozy and there was everything that one family might need. The location is good and it is very close to Kerkini lake. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The owner Panos is really kind and responded really quick to our messages. He gave us advices about the best restaurants and boat services. Thank you, Panos! We'll come back again!

The Kerkini Houses are very close to lake Kerkini, a place that I recommend for staying when travelling to/ out of Greece via Kulata border. The host is very kind, welcomed us and offered suggestions of restaurants and sightseeings. You bicycles available at the location, (free of charge).

15 mins easy walk to the lake. Very nice and helpful hosts. Nice breakfast and lovely hotel restaurant. Our room was huge.
