I can only say that our stay was exceptional. I highly recommend the apartment on the ground floor for people travelling with kids: spacious, bright, direct access to the pool. The owner will do everything to make your stay easy and comfortable! We were provided with a travel cot and a baby chair. Kitchen is well equipped, rooms can get fully dark even during the day, and all doors are new - these are all small elements that make a huge difference when travelling with a baby!! Breakfast is rich in selection and coffee/orange juice is fresh. We can’t wait to come back to Crete and to this property!

It was perfect! We were 2 adults and 2 children 11 and 12 years old. The apartment was so big and there was everything you need. Two big balcony’s and so much space. Ocean view. Close to the sea and restaurants. Wonderful pool. Great staff. Thanks!

Nikki & Katerina very polite & friendly even helped with our cases. Room was comfortable & clean, bed was very comfortable. Water pressure was very good with plenty of hot water for the shower. Liked & appreciated the tea & coffee facilities & fresh fruit in our room. Enjoyed sitting on the veranda overlooking the square.

The beach was very nice and for hotel guests only, water was exceptionally clean and warm. The swimming Pool is nice and mostly free to swim. Breakfast was very nice, with good Greek, continental, and English goodies to choose from.

We were so surprised by this small family owned hotel. The breakfast here was better than the breakfast we had at 5 star all inclusive. Ingredients were of very high quality, and although there was less variety everything was so delicious. Our room was cleaned with so much care every day, we truly felt taken care of, and on vacation. Having breakfast right next to the sea was amazing. Quiet, delicious, great value for the price, super clean, romantic.

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping, Kissamos is hard to beat. Close to the port for Balos-Gramvousa excursions and secluded for a wonderful relaxed time with your loved one. Gramvousa Restaurant is a must, a short drive to a memorable dining experience. Loved snorkeling and fish sightings around rocky areas. Pictures cannot capture the panoramic breath-taking setting.

Not really a resort, but a working town, has a small, pretty square with a few bars and tavernas. A few good tavernas and bars down on the seafront. A lot more could be made of the beach with a little effort.

Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

There is an instagram picture worthy and tasteful Gramboussa Restaurant in the village Kaliviani with amazing service. The village is authentic, with historic buildings and a special aura. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to stop in Kissamos.

Kissamos itself as a town is nothing special but it has some seafront tavernas and its location makes it a good base to explore the local area - in particular to take a boat trip around to Balos bay and lagoon which is highly recommended, including a stop at Gramvousa island to walk up to the castle. It's also a short drive over the hill to Falasarna bay for a closer nice beach option with sunbeds. Kissamos beach is rather scraggy looking compared to other more scenic options locally!

Great villa in characterful village with easy access to the coast and beaches. The villa is well positioned and the owners have clearly gone out of their way to provide every amenity for their guests. Book it.

So peaceful yet only three minutes to a great beach and easy swimming, a stroll along each way to eateries, and surprisingly no distance to main road straight to Kissamos. It’s like staying in someone’s own house. Everything is considered. The owner is there to greet you (with good English) and we even had a huge homemade cake and sweets. Everything other people say is true so I won’t repeat myself. We had some fantastic walks all over west Crete and lovely trips into attractive towns.

This hotel is a true gem. Quiet yet 5 minutes away from bustling marina with plenty of tavernas and bars and 10 minutes away from the town centre with even more choices of food, drinks and entertainment. The swimming pool is lovely, the view from the restaurant on site is so relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, too. If I ever come back to this part of Crete, I will choose this hotel again. Jacuzzi are an additional bonus as well. So relaxing after the whole day of sightseeing.

We like everything in that hotel,staff is so friendly,location perfect,amazing view,two pools,,one for adult one for kids ,food is nice,white wine was very good compared to other places 😀 Our son,he is alergic we asked to make special food for him to make separate and the kitchen chef made it so quick that we can't get that in other places in Crete..guests getting nice presents from the hotel on the day you check out ❤️

Alexia seaview apartments is a small and super nice family business. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Apartment is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Super clean and comfortable. Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. Beachfront and restaurants just few steps away as well as Kissamos main street and old town. Wonderful place for a relaxed holiday. 10/10 and would truly recommend! :)

The location is amazing. Close to top 3 beaches in west Crete. The staff was very helpful and complimented us with nice welcome for our honeymoon. The best thing was breakfast next to beach, with amazing food and nice variety every day. Thank you hotel Aphrodita for beautiful stay.
