Cleverly restored house in the centre of a pretty village. Beautifully done and an absolute pleasure to stay here. Possibly useful advice: If you arrive by car, make sure to drive into the village on the main road until you arrive at the kafenio in the centre of town. The house is about 50m directly above along a steep and narrow alley. Take the lower of the two double doors to access the front courtyard.

The staff, hospitality, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Spa facilities and services provided, massages, were outstanding. The food buffet had everything you could imagine and more. Your every need was attended to as a guest from the moment you arrived, how you were greeted and welcomed until the time you departed. 10 out of 10 service!

The hotel had the greatest view! Waking up with such a view was just wonderful. We swam in the sea a couple of times, you definitely need special rock shoes for this but it was fun. Swimming pool is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinners at the tavern were also very nice, good selection and great atmosphere. Staff and owner are polite, friendly and kind people, ready to help. The location had bakeries, little shops and small taverns nearby but with a car you can reach whatever you want. We were able to visit some great places and beaches. Overall, it was an excellent vacation and we miss Crete already!

Everything was great! The food was very tasty, the garden of the hotel very beautiful, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the view from the balcony.. I can still see when I close my eyes. We will miss Crete very much, we will definitely return to the same hotel, thank you to the nice ladies at the reception, the smiling waiters in the restaurant, the bartenders for the amazing cocktails! One of the best hotels where I had the opportunity to stay. Everything was excellent. I would like to especially mention the staff who make every guest feel like a VIP, also the food that was very delicious and of high quality throughout all our stay (food assortment was huge), and of course, the design of the hotel. We loved everything about our stay at Uzenie Hotel! From the first day it felt so easy and comfortable to be there: the staff are just amazing, always smiling, super friendly and ready to help with anything. Upon arrival we were told that the best thing about the hotel is the people working there and I couldn’t agree more. Our room with a private pool was perfect. Big, clean, stylish, everything is new. The whole hotel looks new and it feels really nice just to walk around. The food was great as well, both breakfast and dinner buffets were so tasty with lots of choice. Honestly the best food we had on the island was here at the hotel restaurant haha The beach is beautiful and very clean. We also tried yoga in the morning by the sea and it was such a cool experience. You can tell the hotel does everything to make guests happy. After this stay we went to another 5 star hotel in Crete and it was not even close to Uzenie. This place is really special and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. If you can book it, do it.
