The property is in a good location close to the Central Park. The building itself is beautiful, with a maze of courtyards, dining rooms, rooftop sitting/eating areas, shops, spa business etc. Our room was compact but beautifully appointed. The hotel provides a water station to reduce the use of plastics. A request for an iron and extra coat hangers was promptly actioned. The bed was very comfortable and we always managed to have restful sleeps. We had a very early start at 3:30am on day -travelling to Copan. Juan Jose was very helpful assisting us in contacting the transfer company when they did not arrive on time. All in all a very nice stay.

We loved the old style character of this hotel which felt very much in keeping with Antigua and its history. This hotel is perfectly based to explore Antigua on foot. Beautiful mansion in the heart of Antigua. Breakfast was delicious. The wonderful staff was extremely helpful as we were traveling with a small baby. Definitely recommended and we would love to come back!

The grounds of this hotel are spectacular! It is right by the dock, so it is easy to walk to the property. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, considering that there are not a lot of options for dining (we were on foot). The food is exceptional, and plenty of it comes from their organic garden, of which we had a lovely tour. The hotel website offers full details of how community minded and eco-friendly this business is. The pool looks odd because it is dark. However, I imagine it helps heat the water, along with the solar panels. If you are looking for a couple of days in paradise, this is the place. And the view from the restaurant 🤩
