Thom (I hope I got the spelling right) has lots of insider tips to Plitvice, and was a wonderful host. Please opt for the dinner onsite, it was super delicious.

It's a brilliant location for Plitvice Lakes. If you don't have transport, no problem... the bus from Split or Zagreb drops you off at Mukinje bus stop.. and then it's just a 7 min walk on a back road (don't walk on the main road!) to House Boro. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler. There's a supermarket just 15/20 mins walk away and Plitvice Lakes Entrance 2 is just 35 mins walk from House Boro... a pleasant walk, partly through a forest... I was on my own going there and coming back and felt safe. The room was lovely and spacious. It was quiet and the bed was so comfy. The owner/manager is very friendly and gives you good advice about which route to take at Plitvice. They also serve meals at House Boro... dinner (20€) and buffet breakfast (10€) just let them know what time you want it. I had the dinner during my stay... there was a choice of 4 meals... I chose the meat dish - it was huge!!! Remember to bring a credit card with you to Plitvice lakes, as they don't accept cash at the cafes. It was nice to chill in the garden with a beer after my all day walk at Plitvice. House Boro also offer wine & beer. Definitely a good choice if you're coming to Plitvice. I stayed two nights.. perfect! 👍🏼

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park. Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

The most wonderful 2 night short stay to explore Jezerce and...

The most wonderful 2 night short stay to explore Jezerce and the magnificent UNESCO heritage Plitvice Lakes.We were using public transport to travel and got by easily inspite the same. Though the hotel does not serve lunch and dinner there is a fabulous restaurant across the road serves local cuisine. A 25 30 mins walk to the super market if u need essentials. The hotel will drop you and pick you up as well from the lakes for 10 Euro x 2 persons to entrance 2. Lala the owner is an extremely efficient Host and takes care of all your needs, and she needs to be informed of your requests. We did the 7.00 am first slot, H walk inside the Plitvice Lakes which covered both Upper and lower lakes n took around 3.30 mins fast walk and around 7-8 kms. We were the first to finish in our group of around 40 60 persons. The crowd built up towards the end of our walk from the opposite direction,by which time we had almost completed our walk.The bus inside the lake picked us up at 8.00 am from the starting point towards our first part of the walk, was an easy walk all the way slope downwards and then an electric 10 mins boat ride across the lake ,refreshed ourselves at the cafe. Kindly note that across Croatia only cash is accepted, but here in the lakes u pay by card, which we did not carry, but a wonderful lady did pay on out behalf by her card and we paid her the cash. This is NOT mentioned on your tickets ,but only at the entrance of the park. The bus stop which is the first stop (towards Zagreb) and last stop at Mukhinje (from Zagreb)is around 650 meters walk to the property from the bus stop for the Plitvice lakes is Not mentioned on your bus ticket (Flixbus)and the walk takes 10 mins with your bags ,and a small part of the walk is on the highway on the side,while the rest of the walk winds through an internal road. In the evenings we just explored the neighbourhood fields n internal village roads and loved it.

Close to Plitvice Lakes, town and shops. Great place to switch off and relax. Room and all facilities were well maintained, clean and comfortable. Spa and sauna room was a lovely bonus and set up beautifully. Ana, who was our amazing host, set us up each day with a generous breakfast which was big enough that it also counted as lunch.

A Must see place but only for 2 days.

A Must see place but only for 2 days. We went in September and had 1 rainy day and 1 sunny day. Area is quite spread out, a car would make things easier but plenty of reasonable taxis. The flix bus stopped at all 3 stops, entrance 1,2 and Mukinje.

Both the Plitvice Lakes National Park and many other surrounding places (Slunj Rastoke village, Caves of Barać) are gorgeous. Lots of activities available (e.g. a deer ranch, horse riding, an adrenaline park) within driving distance.

Close to Plitvice Lakes we had a great breakfast and a tasty dinner. The host Lala was very accommodating. We sat by the pool and had purchased beverages from them as well. Room was clean and inviting. We enjoyed our experience here and would return here.

Fabulous property very close to Plitvice Lakes which was our reason for visiting the area. The property itself is very attractive and the pool area is lovely although the water in the pool was pretty chilly. The staff were all very helpful. There is no restaurant or food served but you can buy coffee at the reception area. There is a restaurant immediately opposite the hotel and lots of other eateries in the local area.

The host gave us a dinner and breakfast. Dinner was not included in the room price and it was 25 euros per person (only cash). In my case, breakfast was included in the room price. Both dinner and breakfast was soooo nice and amazing. Those are better than food provided at restaurant or hotel. Also it was very convenient in that there are not many restaurants or cafes nearby.

The location is perfect for enjoying the Plitvice park. Rooms are simple but comfortable, one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in at any hotel! The breakfast is definitely worth having. There is also a separate restaurant next to the hotel where we enjoyed a great dinner.

The best place in the Plitvice Lakes to stay. Low price and high comfort. Hotel is located 15 mins from Lakes park in a very quiet place. Personal of the hotel is fantastic (very kind and helpful). Breakfast is very satisfying as well.
