Beautiful island, old town, beaches and warm people. Strongly recommend a rental car to find all of the hidden gems that Korcula has to offer other than just the Old Town— beautiful as it is. We drove inland, hiked to the St. Roc lookout in Smokvika, swam in Zitna Beach, visited Lombard’s, hiked to the Lighthouse through the vineyards and swam at the beach. Lovely and very interesting island with amazing beaches nearby, great biking opportunities, historic places to visit, wonderful restaurants, friendly people and amazing sites around every bend. We stayed in the old town, in a building built around 1400, and explored from there. The old town was so fun and small enough that you could walk everywhere, including to the ferry stations, so the only time we used a car was when we took a day to drive to several beaches around the island, each one amazing.Guest review by4BeachcombersUnited States - 10.0

Just so easy to get around, Korcula is a jewel in the Croatian crown. With plenty to see in Korcula, three days also gave us time to visit local islands, beaches and wineries too. The climb to Korcula viewpoint (many steps of course) was well worth it and we got some amazing photos. So many great place to eat in the town, on the city edge above the water and in the alleyways. Beautiful Adriatic island.
Beautiful Adriatic island. Rented a bicycle and cycled from Korćula to Vela Luka on the main 118 road and back (97km). Roads are very narrow and at times felt motorists, don't all respect cyclists. Lots of space (but then it was end of season and the hotel far from full).The indoor pool was warm and a good size. Pleanty of sunbeds by outdoor pooll/terrace. We had half board which was great value with sufficent variety. Reception staff very charming and waiting staff very efficient. Short and pleasant walk into town.
