We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

There was a lot to do in the area, whether a person wanted to shop at a shopping mall, or smaller souvenir shops. The downtown Dubrovnik area was a short ride away, which offered great views and history of Old Town where a person could spend several days at all the shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and even take a cooking class - which we did. There were plenty of gellato shops on every street. I highly recommend the Local Cooking Class where we learned how to make bread, cook mussels, make macaroni, then candied almonds for a sweet treat. Great central location to experience the joys and scenery of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. Cavtat & The Old Town are a must. Use the Water Taxis and definitely use the a Dubrovnik pass for 60 euros as this saved us money on buses, the city's wall walk and the Museums. Croatia has an amazing coastline and everywhere we went was well kept & very clean, , Drinks out can be expensive but there are plenty of restaurants that can accommodate most budgets. The food is Croatia was exceptional and to be honest we did not have a single bad meal out. Lovely sea view from our second floor room. Good size room with large comfortable double bed and a nice bathroom. Spacious breakfast area both inside and outdoors and lots of variety and choice at breakfast. Short walk to a lovely pool area outside the sister hotel. We also enjoyed the pizza and pasta restaurant outside the Mlini Hotel. Bar showing football just outside the hotel site and boat rides to Cavat and Dubrovnik just outside the hotel site too.
