High standard, with an amazing view from the large balcony. The apartment was very clean and modern, even better than the pictures. The host and her family were really friendly and helpful. The centre of Senj was in walking distance (although quite a steep walk home) and the closest beach (Plaza Voda) was a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

the apartment is incredible, it has everything and even more ... it was comfortable to rest in a new home. The light color of the rooms was pleasantly soothing and you felt like you were at home)). All equipment is new and clean. In the summer heat, special comfort was added by air conditioners in each room. Next to the house there is a wonderful clean beach with a peculiarity - there is always a breeze with the freshness of watermelons, it is so clean and has wonderful water. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, going down and up steep stairs, but this is what is needed for healthy cardio loads. We liked this place so much that we didn't even go to other beaches. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the city center through the park, there you can buy everything necessary either in large supermarkets or in small shops, there are many restaurants, cafes and bakeries. I personaly think that this is the best option for accommodation in that place, I am sure that we will stay there more than once.

A lovely apartment with a lot of space both inside and out. The inside has a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a single bed, and with its own reasonable size front terrace and access to the rear terrace. The living room is very spacious. It has a table and four chairs and a sofa, which is also a large double bed. There is also a very well equipped kitchen with a microwave and fridge freezer. The living room also has its own front terrace with with table and chairs, and aaccess to the extremely large enclosed and private back terrace with another, larger table and chairs, and a very comfortable outdoor sofa as well as a gas grill and clothes airer for drying things. The location was great, very tranquil, and less than a minute to walk the beach, which is pebbles, and where the views are wonderful and there is a nice little beach bar restaurant where the food was nice. The parking wasn't right at the front door but was very close, about 15 - 20 metres. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

We found Senj to be a great place to stay.

We found Senj to be a great place to stay. It was perfect for driving to other activities and sites like the Fortress, beaches and Plitvice Park. Although there is not much to Senj old town, it was very nice to explore and enjoy the plaza and restaurants. A 4 night stay would be sufficient to see and do everything in the proximity.

Beautiful and historic seaside town with amazing scenery around it. We were there off season but it was sleepy without much to do. We visited the Nehaj Fortress which includes a museum and rooftop views of the sea and town. The beaches in the area are typically small and rocky. We stayed mostly to go to Plitvice National Park which is over an hour drive away from the town.

What a Authentic little town, not to touristy good services though, nice Adriatic beaches and coves. Lots of interesting history to hunt down. Mid Sept. and the water was still around 20c . Calming place after all the fast pace of larger city's Dining hint: find Kod Veska.... seafood galore

Zengg is the perfect choice if you're not only interested in...

Zengg is the perfect choice if you're not only interested in the beach, but also want to see a bit of the city. The old town is interesting, the castle is worth a visit and the restaurants are good. It's big enough that you can't really notice the many tourists. The locals are friendly and you can get along well with English or German.

It is a nice and hilly place.

It is a nice and hilly place. It is not much of a big town/city. It does not have a long coast line but there is a nice beach we visited called Skver Beach which closed to the town/city centre. I liked their lechon also that is one of the menu from all the restaurants we visited.

Senj is a small town on the coast.

Senj is a small town on the coast. It isn't as crowded as other towns nearby. If you just focus on the beaches and the town itself you might get bored quickly. The mountains however in the area are beautiful and offer great views or hiking possibilities. Coming down from Alan to Jablanac for example offers the most beautiful views I ever experienced. Restaurants offer mostly all kinda the same food. Bora 45 Hotel has good food, try the restaurants near the water in Lukovo south of Senj ( great road getting there), and the fish restaurant in Klenovica north of Senj. Coast road to Senj can be very busy in August. So a good alternative route is the highway from Zagreb to Split. If you want good Slivovic avoid the factory made, ask for farmer-made Slivovic, If you are lucky they sell it. More inland villages often have. If you depend on good wifi, book a place near the central post office. If you get further away the speed can drop to 4-6 Mbps.

Everything! From the first communication messages from Barbara on how exactly to arrive with photos and that we will be greeted and taken care of. The space is great, very calm, spacious, separate bedroom, large kitchen, all needed amenities and more. I mean it was like home. Big private parking locked at night, so safe and hasle free. Even though the house is like 10 minutes walk from Senj city center, it is worth every step. Highly highly recommended place, host Barbara and price wise it is a great great deal.

The nicest and most welcoming people you can ever find. They do everything to make you feel relaxed and at home and appartment is full of little, thoughtful details to make your stay even more perfect. Coffee, tea, cookies and sweets for the kids are available and also a big folder with loads of usefull information about Senj if you want to explore more. Would definitely recommend!

Nice, clean and comfortable apartment with amazing view. The closest beach is 5 minutes walking distance (you can go down at the neighbours house on 85 stairs), Marija was very friendly. She is speaking Croatian, but we felt we almost understand her. :) We just loved our stay, Senj is a great place for a few days vacation, downtown was 20 minutes walk on the beach.

We had a junior suite, which was comfortable and great for the price. Nicely presented and clean. The location is on the sea front and close to restaurants and bars. The car park opposite is 'pay' but just go through the barrier and take a ticket. On check in the hotel will give you a voucher for free exit at the booth when you leave.
