Hotel Barbakan is a great place to stay. We always stay here when visiting Pecs with my wife. Rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The check-in is usually flexible, and they always make their best to accommodate us earlier if possible. Breakfast is good with many options and good quality.

The hotel is in walking distance from the railway station, the bus station and in the city centre. The woman at the reception desk speaks English very well and is very friendly. Breakfast is included and very rich. We had a great, clean and quiet room with terrasse.

Room is according to my expectations - just suits to this mid price level. Breakfast was ok, continental one - good quality, but nothing special. Location is best - right in the middle of the town 5 mins walk from the main spots.
