It is super clean! The rooms are beautiful and modern with very comfortable beds and the most amazing view. The bathroom is super spacious and perfectly clean! There's a big selection for breakfast options which were all tasty, the same goes for the lunch and dinner restaurant menu. The staff are all super friendly and very caring and will help you at any time. I felt so comfortable there so I extended my stay and I would always stay here again if I come back to Nusa Penida! Also important to mention is that it is very peaceful, there are no constructions sites close by and no busy roads.

We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. Really nice stay in Maskot:)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful stay at The Alana Penida Hotel! The space is clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. Breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of options. It’s well located, just a short ride from the town center. They also rent scooters for 75/100/150k IDR with helmets, which was super convenient. Ideal for a short 2–3 night stay to explore the island.

Everything is superb in beach house penida! Very value for money! I went to nusa penida for diving and beach house penida is strategically located within the walking distance of many famous dive centre. I booked for the Seaview room and I love to see the sunrise at the beach every morning. The environment is so peaceful and scenic. Not to mention about the room massage service! It is so comfortable and the price is very reasonable.

An excellent stay! I liked the remote location away from the noise, but still easily accessible by scooter or car on a fully tarred road. The pool is well located, with beautiful views especially during sunset. The room was comfortable, clean and cool with the aircon on. The owner is helpful and kind. One of the best value for money places I have ever stayed. Will make this my go to place whenever I am on Penida.

The bungalow was great, the bathroom was stunning. The hotel is really friendly, staff are really welcoming. They provide (at an extra charge) scooter, snorkeling trips and transfer from the harbour.

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and...

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and beaches. It is not easy to wonder around. Roads are bad and it is not the best if you are not an expert with the scouter, in that case you will need to use the local drivers. I suggest Crystal Bay, and Klingking Beach (for sure). If you got to do the snorkeling with the Manta Rays go early, later it is really crowded. Consider that it takes long time to go in the main point of interests.

What i loved about Nusa Penida- was the vibe of the island, peaceful, friendly, laid back, without the hype of Bali. We walked to a number of great restaurants and beach clubs which were divine. We hired a bike and experienced Goa Giri Putri Temple that was a wonderful experience. We Rode to Kelingking Beach- magnificent scenery - downside is the roads are really terrible, narrow and at times very rough, and the cars with tourists were travelling fast, with little consideration for bike riders so we pulled over a lot to allow them to pass for our own safety.

I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed...

I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed at Prapat Beach, which was close enough to Penida Ferry Port and stunning, with an amazing view of Agung on a clear day. My accomodation was in a great spot and is as advertised. Sari Nadi Beach Stay is only a few k's from the harbour but with traffic, it took around 30mins. I did a tour of West island beaches, which I found disappointing because it was so busy, shoulder-to-shoulder busy! It felt it was impossible to really enjoy it with so many people. The walk down to Kelingking Beach might have been worth it if you didn't have to keep stopping for someone to get their perfect shot! The drive through the countryside was worth it alone though, and if your new to the island, it's a great way to get your bearings for a return visit. Crystal Beach was my pick of the beaches, just don't forget to bring a towel or change to hire one and a bed. Otherwise, you can sit at a table. Overall, I can't wait to go back! One tip, check if there are any days of (religious) observance when you stay. My stay coincided with Nyepi Laut, 'Silence of the Ocean' which means no water activity, great for me because it meant peace and quiet but not if you needed to travel that day.

Unfortunately , NP seems to have far too many visitors for what the road infrastructure can handle . The roads to all the local sightseeing hotspots are not wide enough for oncoming vehicle to pass each other without driving on the shoulder of the road ( if it exists ) and constantly causing further damage ,. The roads surfaced are very badly broken a terribly pot- holed . Vehicle journeys to the popular destinations take an inordinately long time with traffic banked up while cars try to pass each other when they can . On the plus ; the restaurants and beach clubs and bars serve excellent food and live music nightly was easy to find . And entertaining . The coastline scenery is fantastic . Itis why so many people make trip . The fast ferry services from Sanur to NP are very good and only 30 minutes .

you can see it in 2 days pretty much.

you can see it in 2 days pretty much. We did find some great little restaurants. Coco Penida and Tropiz. food and service were excellent. Penida is a must see but probably once every blue moon is enough

We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are...

We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are enough for a quick visit. But if you want to relax with the view there plan in more days. Be careful for overpriced taxis as there is no Grab or other alternatives. Take the scooter as much as you can.

We had an amazing time at Bintang Bungalow. Very good service from a very friendly staff, really nice room and swimming pool. The hotel is also located very close to Crystal Bay which is the only beach where you can actually swim in Nusa Penida, in our opinion. We had an issue with the scooter on the 2nd day, and the team solved it in just a couple of minutes, this was highly appreciated. If we come back to Nusa Penida, we will definitely book this hotel again. Thank you for the great stay!

Maua is a great boutique hotel, probably the nicest one on Nusa Penida. With a great view on the main island of Bali and Mount Agung. We loved the hotel so much that we didn't feel like going out. Our room had a private pool but we enjoyed the main pool, which is bigger than the ones in other hotels in Bali. The food was good with a special mention to the breakfast menu and the Chinese New Year dinner. Also the staff was nice with easy check-in and check-out.

Lovely small hotel close to the Crystal beach. The rooms were large but the facilities were slightly basic. But I guess it is ok for a small island like Nusa Penida where people would probably stay for a night if at all. The staff were cordial and helpful. The lafyciwner arranged for my transport from Kuta including the ferry and it all went smoothly.

Very nice little reality in a calm and convenient location of the island. Ketut and the staff were extremely helpful providing us the transfers to the hotel and organizing also the snorkeling tour.
