The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

Such an AMAZING experience. David was one of the best hosts we've ever had. The homestay is adorable, very well-located (300 meters to the beach) and comfy. But spenting that time with David was the most amazing part. He is very helpful, fun, generous, welcoming and a really good person. The rooms and the breakfast are very nice too. This is the place to stay if you are coming to Red Island (Pulau Merah). The room has everything you need and it's great for the price, don't expect a luxury room, there's no such things for this price. Hendro is an amazing and charming host, he gave me a great local experience and he can give you tours to Alas Purwo National Park. The breakfast at his warung is usually a delicious banana pancake with coffee/tea but I think you can order something else. The place is just 1 minute from the beach riding a scooter.

Pros: there is a Wi-Fi ready to help the girls at the reception (they gave my son a deep plate when he needed it), a good location from the beach - 2 steps, a beautiful facade of the building, there is stable hot water - a big plus.

Everything was amazing, we were supposed to stay just 2 nights and we ended up staying 4!! Sri, the host of the homestay, is just wonderful. She is friend with everyone in the village and she can show you around or give you great recommendations, specially if you are the type of traveller that wants to avoid crowds. I highly recommend staying here and explore the area, also don't be shy about talking with Sri about anything (including prices if you are not convinced), she is the kindest and will explain everything, since she always wants to make sure their guests are happy with their experience at her place. Also, she cooks all meals herself (and sometimes with her family) and it is the best food we've had in all Indonesia so far.
