Awesome!!! Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed ! We were really pleased with our stay at the "Moycarn Lodge & Marina" as it is a very nice hotel with all the facilities needed. Extremely clean and neat room. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager. Staffs were very friendly and professional. All the staffs are a true sample of excellent hospitality. The environment was peaceful and beautiful. It was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. The service is unmatched. Highly recommended and extremely happy to stay again 😊

Breakfast and the dinners were amazing. The manager was awesome. She checked us in and got us a bigger room.

The Shearwater Hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from Athlone and a 50-minute car journey from Galway. It is close to the marina and the River Suck.

My girlfriend and I had a sudden change of plans and Cathy arranged everything for us to check-in one day earlier at 2am. It's nice to meet people like her and her husband in life. The place was very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful neighborhood and really close to Athlone. It was very easy to use the fire stove and they left us a guide with suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc. We loved it!
