Put simply, we left as much behind us as we achieved over 6 days and 7 nights, thus leaving a desire to return. The trip grew out of having spent a week in July 2024 visiting Donegal other than the Inishowen peninsula and this trip fulfilled a promise to ourselves to return and 'complete the job'.

My favourite place on Malin was Malin Head and onwards to Kinnagoe Beach which was spectacular as the weather was sunny. Glenevin waterfall and fort Dunree were both beautiful and interesting. We ate at McGrorys and also at the ButterBean in Carndonagh both excellent with great selection and value for money.. It is a world of its own with roads crossing the mountains and beauty all around. Very quickly arrive at each destination . The Five Finger beach is a well hidden beauty spot as are the Alpacas. Walking, driving, Swimming, Horse riding, cycling, Golf and the ferry at Greencastle gets you over to County Derry and Giants Causeway .

Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head.

Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head. Close to Culdaff beach and Five Finger Strand which are both beautiful. Wild Alpacha Way is also very close and is a fantastic day out for families run by a lovely local farming family.

Exceptionally well-kept country house in a peaceful green natural environment. Great location for exploring the Inishowen Peninsula and hiking in the Malin Head area. The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The host was very friendly, it was pleasant to chat with him. In the morning, a delicious and extremely nicely served breakfast was served. Everything was excellent. Thank you.

What a wonderful place to stay. Roisin was so helpful right from booking. Anything we needed she was right there. The cottage has everything that you will need, a real home from home. Attention to detail was achieved 100%. We would definitely go back. We had a lovely mixture of a nice sunny days, and the cosy nights by the fire. Please do go there if you are ever lucky enough to be in Malin Head.

Malin Townhouse is beautifully decored, our room had everything we needed, breakfast was A1, Anna and all the staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel for a couple or young family, can't wait to return some day. Ray & Louise Waterford
